Volatile Times is the fourth studio album from IAMX. It was released on 18 March 2011 and the tracks on the album keep alive the cabaret-esque and dark electronic sound that Chris Corner has become known for. The track "Volatile Times" was featured on season 1 episode 5 of How to Get Away with Murder, [1] both the US and instrumental versions of "I Salute You Christopher" on episode 11, as well as the US version of "Music People" on episode 14. [2]
Volatile Times is the first IAMX album released on vinyl.
New songs from the album that were performed on 22 October 2010 at the Prague show at Meet Factory included "Fire and Whispers", "Bernadette", "Oh Beautiful Town", "Music People", and "Cold Red Light".
The lead single from the album, "Ghosts of Utopia", premiered on Czech Radio 1 on 23 January. It was released as a digital download on 25 February and includes a remix by Noblesse Oblige, who were the supporting band for the Fire & Whispers Tour. A music video for the single, directed and edited by Chris Corner, premiered on tape.tv on 23 February.
A free download of "Fire and Whispers" was made available on 4 March, as part of the countdown of the album. [3] The full album was leaked online on 12 March, [4] a fact that Corner acknowledged on the day of the album's release. [5]
On 2 September 2013 the album was released digitally in the US with an alternative cover, and all songs were remixed and remastered by Chris Corner.

Sneaker Pimps are an English electronic music band, formed in Hartlepool in 1994. They are best known for their debut album, Becoming X (1996), and its singles "6 Underground" and "Spin Spin Sugar". The band takes its name from an article the Beastie Boys published in their Grand Royal magazine about a man they hired to track down classic sneakers.
Substance is a compilation album by English alternative dance band New Order. It was released in August 1987 by Factory Records. The album compiles all of the band's singles at that point in their 12-inch versions, along with their respective B-side tracks. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb is the eleventh studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was released on 22 November 2004 in the United Kingdom by Island Records and a day later in the United States by Interscope Records. Leather Jackets is the twentieth studio album by English musician Elton John. The Alternative is the second album by English musical artist IAMX, released on 28 April 2006 in Europe and a year later in the UK and Ireland. It was re-issued on Metropolis Records in the US on 6 May 2008. It is the second IAMX album to contain tracks intended for the aborted Sneaker Pimps album SP4. 2008 US editions differ significantly from the original 2006 version. Many of the songs were significantly re-recorded or remixed, most noticeably "The Negative Sex" and "Spit It Out", as well as "The Alternative", "Nightlife" and "Song of Imaginary Beings". "This Will Make You Love Again" is among a handful of songs to have been edited to include vocals by Janine Gezang. The re-released versions also include a string version of "Spit It Out" as a hidden track. The original album and the reissues also have different covers.
Nathan Joseph White, known by his stage name Whitey, is an English songwriter, musician, multi-instrumentalist and soundtrack composer. He works primarily in the alternative pop field, bringing in elements of pop, rock, classical and electronic; with influences from many other genres and mediums, for example, Charleston, swing, psychedelia, metal, acid house, cut-up poetry and found sounds. His sounds has been described to contain various styles of music such as alternative rock, bedroom pop, electronic, electronica, carnival, synthpop, indie rock, post-punk revival, neo-psychedelia, new wave and alternative dance. Tracks by Whitey have also featured in episodes of The Sopranos and Breaking Bad.
Kingdom of Welcome Addiction is the third studio album by IAMX, released on 19 May 2009. Chris Corner described Kingdom of Welcome Addiction as being "like Disney World but with lipstick, cynicism and wit". It is the first IAMX album not to feature the vocals of Sue Denim, as well as being the first not to include any SP4 tracks.
"My Secret Friend" is a song performed by IAMX and Imogen Heap, released as the third single from the album Kingdom of Welcome Addiction. The CD single is available only through the IAMX webstore.
Tune-Yards is the American, Oakland, California–based music project of Merrill Garbus and Nate Brenner. Garbus's music draws from an eclectic variety of sources and uses elements such as loop pedals, ukulele, vocals, and lo-fi percussion. Tune-Yards’ 2011 album Whokill was ranked the number one album of that year in The Village Voice's annual Pazz and Jop critics’ poll.
"Volatile Times" is a song by IAMX, which was released as the third single from the studio album Volatile Times. A remix EP was released as a digital download as well as a CD, with only 500 copies available for distribution and all pre-orders were signed by Chris himself.
The Unified Field is the fifth studio album by IAMX. On 19 October 2012 the album title was officially announced on IAMX's PledgeMusic page. On 22 January 2013 the album cover and track listing were revealed. The first track, "I Come With Knives" was featured on the first episode of the ABC show How to Get Away with Murder, and the track "The Unified Field" was featured briefly on episode three, as well as "Walk With The Noise" on episode nine.
Salute is the second studio album by British girl group Little Mix, released on 8 November 2013 through Syco Music and Columbia Records. The album was mostly co-written by Little Mix, who stated that they were more involved in the development of this album compared to their debut album DNA. The album was preceded by the lead single "Move", and included two further singles, "Little Me", and "Salute". It is also one of two studio albums by the group to not feature any collaborations.

Metanoia is the sixth studio album by British musician IAMX, released on 2 October 2015, almost four months after its album title official announcement on 11 June 2015 on the band's PledgeMusic page.
Everything Is Burning (Metanoia Addendum) is an EP by IAMX released on 2 September 2016, serving as a companion piece to the band's sixth album, Metanoia, with seven previously unreleased tracks and nine remixes of Metanoia songs.
