Nurse with Wound is the main recording name for British musician Steven Stapleton. Nurse with Wound was originally a band, formed in 1978 by Stapleton, John Fothergill and Heman Pathak. The band's work has explored genres such industrial, noise, dark ambient, and drone.

It was released on Polydor Records in the UK, peaking at No. 11, and on Warner Bros. in the US where it peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart. The US rights to both this album and Face Dances subsequently reverted to the band, who then licensed them to MCA Records for reissue. The album achieved gold status by the RIAA in the US in November 1982. It was their last album for over two decades until Endless Wire in 2006.

The album is primarily an acoustic album, in contrast to his previous collaboration with Josh Klinghoffer, A Sphere in the Heart of Silence, which was mostly electronic. The Don Harrison Band were a 1970s American roots rock band that featured Don Harrison on vocals, guitar and keyboards, Stu Cook on bass and piano and Doug Clifford on drums and percussion. Stu Cook and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford were both former members of Creedence Clearwater Revival. The line-up also included Russell DaShiell formerly of Crowfoot on lead and rhythm guitar, piano and vocals. The band merged elements of folk, country, rhythm & blues and rock & roll in a sound reminiscent of CCR.

The One Ensemble is a British musical group, based in Glasgow. The project was initially conceived by Volcano The Bear member Daniel Padden as a vehicle for his solo work, and their first three albums were released under the name The One Ensemble Of Daniel Padden. Two studio albums in this mould were released, an eponymous debut on the Catsup Plate label in 2003 and The Owl Of Fives on Textile Records in 2004. Although mostly recorded by Padden on his own, these albums featured contributions from other musicians including Jeremy Barnes, Alex Neilson and David Keenan.
