The women's volleyball tournament at the 2023 SEA Games was held at the Olympic Complex Indoor Main Hall in Phnom Penh from 9 to 14 May 2023.
The draw for the women's volleyball tournament was held on 5 April 2023 in Phnom Penh. [1] Cambodia as host chose the group which it wanted to be allocated in.

The 2002 AFF U-20 Youth Championship was the inaugural edition of the tournament. It took place from 23 January to 3 February 2002 and was co-hosted by Thailand and Cambodia with all ten member nations of the ASEAN Football Federation taking part.
The 2015 AFF U-16 Youth Championship is the 10th edition of the AFF U-16 Youth Championship, organised by the ASEAN Football Federation. It will be hosted by Cambodia for the second time after the 2007 AFF U-17 Youth Championship. It will be played between 27 July to 9 August 2015. It was set to be hosted by Indonesia but they were suspended by FIFA in May 2015.

The 2022 AFF U-23 Championship was the 3rd edition of the AFF U-23 Championship, organised by ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). The tournament was held from 14 to 26 February in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Indonesia were the defending champions, having won the 2019 edition. The tournament was held amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Indonesia and Myanmar withdrew from the tournament after several of their players tested positive for COVID-19.

It was the first time that Cambodia hosted the ASEAN Para Games. Celebrated in the tradition of the ASEAN Para Games as governed by the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF).

The women's team badminton tournament at the 2023 SEA Games was held from 8 to 11 May 2023 at the Morodok Techo Badminton Hall, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Thailand women's team is the defending champions in this event. The team targeted to retain the title.
The mixed team badminton tournament at the 2023 SEA Games was held from 8 to 10 May 2023 at the Morodok Techo Badminton Hall, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This is for the first time the mixed team event has been contested in the Southeast Asian Games. This event particularly contested for non stronger badminton nations. It is to provide an opportunity for other nations to win medals in badminton event and also introduced to help the development of badminton sport.
