The Vuelta a los Valles Mineros was a road bicycle race held annually in Spain from 1965 until 1997. [1] [2]

Luis Santamarina was a Spanish cyclist. He competed in the team time trial at the 1964 Summer Olympics. He also rode in four editions of the Tour de France. He died on 6 February 2017, aged 74.

William Palacio is a Colombian former racing cyclist. He rode in nine Grand Tours between 1988 and 1992 and competed in the individual pursuit and points race events at the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Fabio Hernán Rodríguez Hernández is a Colombian former professional road cyclist. He most notably won the Vuelta a los Valles Mineros in 1993 and the Clásico RCN in 1991.
