Vugar Aliyev (born 19 January 1974) is an Azerbaijani volleyball coach who currently manages Murov VC in Azerbaijan Women's Volleyball Super League.

He was the head coach of Azerbaijan national team at the 2021 Women's European Volleyball Championship. [1] [2] [3] His removal followed a poor performance at that event. [4] [5]

At one point he was a coach for Oksana Kurt (nee Parkhomenko). [6]

Kurt is the most capped player in the history of Azerbaijan women's national team and was the team captain from 2006 until 2015. She retired from volleyball in 2015 and works as a volleyball manager.

It has also hosted the first European Games and 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games.

The only elite athlete in the history of Azerbaijani powerlifting who has fulfilled the requirements of the highest degree two times. In 2022, at the World Cup in Russia, won the title of “Elite athlete” for the first time in the history of powerlifting of Azerbaijan, fulfilling the requirements of the highest rank. In 2023, at the European Championships in Kyrgyzstan, he won second time the title of “Elite athlete”. For his high results, he was awarded the highest award in powerlifting “Elite Ring” by the leadership of the World Sports Organization of Powerlifting, at the 2023 Grand Prix tournament in Russia.

Ataman Güneyligil is a Turkish volleyball coach. He is the current head coach of the Azerbaijan women's national volleyball team.

Tuğba Şenoğlu İvegin is a Turkish volleyball player. She is 1.84 m tall and plays in the wing spiker position for Kuzeyboru GSK in Turkey. She is part of the team which qualified for the postponed 2020 Summer Olympics.
