W!Games was a Dutch video game developer based in Amsterdam. Founded by Bas van Berkestijn in February 2005, as a subsidiary of communications company Woedend!, the company developed My Horse & Me and Greed Corp . In April 2016, W!Games merged with Karami and formed Vanguard Games.

A video game developer is a software developer that specializes in video game development – the process and related disciplines of creating video games. History

Woedend!, a Dutch communications company based in Amsterdam, founded Woedend! Games in a business decision when it landed a deal to develop a video game centered around horses. [1] The company debuted their first game, My Horse & Me , at the 2006 Game Developers Conference. [2] Following the release of My Horse & Me, Woedend! Games was renamed W!Games. [1]

Vanguard Games was a Dutch video game developer based in Amsterdam. Founded by Martin de Ronde and Michiel Mol, through the merger of Karami and W!Games, in September 2010, the company merged with Force Field in April 2016. Vanguard Games is best known for Halo: Spartan Assault and Halo: Spartan Strike.

Guerrilla Games Dutch video game development company

Guerrilla B.V. is a Dutch video game developer based in Amsterdam. The company was founded as Lost Boys Games in January 2000 through the merger of three smaller development studios as a subsidiary of multimedia conglomerate company Lost Boys. Lost Boys Games became independent the following year and was acquired by Media Republic in 2003, which renamed the studio Guerrilla Games and sold it to Sony Computer Entertainment in 2005. The company employs approximately 250 people under the leadership of joint studio heads Angie Smets, Jan-Bart van Beek, and Michiel van der Leeuw. SouthPeak Games

SouthPeak Interactive Corporation, doing business as SouthPeak Games, was an American video game publisher based in Midlothian, Virginia. Founded on March 1, 1996, as a subsidiary of SAS Institute in Cary, North Carolina, it was sold and moved to Midlothian, Virginia in 2000, and became a public company in 2008. Also in 2008, the company acquired and closed Austin, Texas-based publisher Gamecock Media Group, and opened a separate digital distribution subsidiary 7Sixty in Grapevine, Texas in 2011. SouthPeak Games quietly ceased from the public eye in July 2013.

Guerrilla Cambridge was a British video game developer based in Cambridge, England. The studio was founded under Sony Computer Entertainment in July 1997 through the buyout of the game development division of CyberLife Technology. In 2010, SCE Studio Cambridge was restructured as a sister studio to Guerrilla Games under the name Guerrilla Cambridge and shut down in 2017. The studio is best known for developing the MediEvil series.

Playdead ApS is a Danish independent video game developer based in Copenhagen. Game designers Arnt Jensen and Dino Patti created the company in 2006 to develop Limbo, which released in 2010 to critical acclaim. Coffee Stain Studios AB is a Swedish video game developer based in Skövde, founded in 2010 by nine University of Skövde students. The company is best known for its game Goat Simulator, which was released in April 2014, and Satisfactory, released as an early access game in 2019. Their parent holding company, Coffee Stain Holding, also operates Coffee Stain Publishing, a publisher, and majority-owns developers Coffee Stain North and Lavapotion. Don't Nod Entertainment SA is a French video game developer based in Paris. Founded in June 2008, it started development on Remember Me (2013). Because of its poor return on investment, Dontnod resolved its financial situation with recourse to public funding to subsidise Life Is Strange (2015), whose successful release raised Dontnod's industry status. The developer followed it with Vampyr, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, and Life Is Strange 2 in 2018, planning to release Twin Mirror in 2020.

The company was founded in 2011 by Mike Wilson, Harry Miller, Paul Hanraets and Andy Payne, and opened its equity crowdfunding platform in September 2012. Founded by Chang Byung-gyu, in Seoul, in March 2007, the company is best known for developing TERA (2011) and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (2017), the latter through its PUBG Corporation subsidiary. In November 2018, Bluehole organised itself under a newly founded parent company, Krafton Game Union.

Thunderful AB is a Swedish video game holding company based in Gothenburg. It was founded in December 2017 by Brjánn Sigurgeirsson and Klaus Lyngeled, in conjunction with Bergsala Holding, as the parent company for their Gothenburg-based game development studios, Image & Form and Zoink. Thunderful also owns publishing arms Thunderful Publishing and Rising Star Games, the latter of which it acquired from Bergsala Holding in June 2018.

Radiant Entertainment, Inc. is an American video game developer based in Los Altos, California. Founded by twin brothers Tom and Tony Cannon in 2011, the company has developed Stonehearth, a city-building game, which was released in July 2018. Radiant Entertainment was acquired by Riot Games in March 2016.
