Wamanripa (local name for Senecio or a species of it, [2] [3] also applied for Laccopetalum giganteum, also spelled Huamanripa) is mountain in the Cordillera Central in the Andes of Peru which reaches a height of approximately 4,600 metres (15,092 ft). It is located in the Lima Region, Yauyos Province, Huancaya District. [1]
Senecio is a genus of the daisy family (Asteraceae) that includes ragworts and groundsels. The scientific Latin genus name, Senecio, means "old man."
