Wang Yuanping

Wang Yuanping (born 8 December 1976) is a retired Chinese athlete who specialised in the 800 metres. [1] She won several medals at the regional level.

Her personal bests in the event are 2:00.63 seconds outdoors (Jinzhou 2000) and 2:03.41 seconds indoors (Yokohama 2004).

The Beijing–Yuanping railway or Jingyuan railway, is a railway line in northern China between Beijing, the national capital, and Yuanping in Shanxi Province. The line is 418 km (260 mi) in length, and traverses through Beijing Municipality, Hebei Province and Shanxi Province. The Beijing–Yuanping railway was built between 1965 and 1971, and entered into operation in 1973. At the time of its construction, the line was primarily intended to transport coal from Shanxi and move military assets in the event of a national defense emergency. The line runs almost entirely in mountainous terrain. Major cities and counties along the route include Beijing, Laiyuan, Lingqiu, Fanshi, Dai and Yuanping.

The Datong–Puzhou or Tongpu railway, is a major trunkline railroad in northern China, and the main axial railway of Shanxi Province. The railway is located entirely within Shanxi and diagonally bisects the province from Datong in the northeast to Fenglingdu, near the village of Puzhou, in the southwest corner. The line is named after Datong and Puzhou, and has a total length of 865 km (537 mi). The line is often referred to by its northern and southern halves with Taiyuan, the provincial capital as the midpoint. Southern Tongpu railway from Taiyuan to Fenglingdu is 513 km (319 mi) in length and was built from 1933 to 1935. The Northern Tongpu railway, from Datong to Taiyuan is 351 km (218 mi) in length and was built from 1933 to 1940. The Hohhot–Nanning corridor is a proposed high-speed railway in China running from Hohhot in Inner Mongolia to Nanning in Guangxi. The Hanjialing–Yuanping railway, also known as the Hanyuan Railway, also known as the North Tongpu four-track railway, is a north–south railway located in Shanxi Province. It is the northern part of the Datong–Puzhou railway running from Yuanping in the south to the Datong–Qinhuangdao railway at Hanjialing. The line is a national class I double-track, electrified railway with a total length of 153 kilometres and a design speed of 160 kilometres per hour, built entirely with heavy-duty track. The whole line opened for freight traffic on 25 February 2014 and passenger services commenced on March 29 of the same year. Construction of two extra tracks was completed on 1 May 2019.

The Cangnan Stele is the temple stele of the Yuan Dynasty Manichaean monastery Xuanzhen Temple (选真寺). It is the only Manichean stone monument found in the world so far, Has been listed as a national second-class cultural relic, now in the Cangnan County Museum, in Zhejiang Province. The monument is 150 cm high, 76 cm wide, and 10 cm thick, half on the forehead of the round stele; the inscription is inscribed in seal script, "Xuansiji". Lin Wushu called the Xuanzhen Temple according to the inscription "It was built by the church of the neighboring countries of Jiangsu, and was built before the Gai Peng family." It means that the Mingjiao of Xuanzhen Temple still inherits the tradition of Manichaeism in the Tang Dynasty, influenced by foreign religions, and is different from ordinary folk religions.

The Jining–Datong–Yuanping high-speed railway, also referred to in Chinese under the acronym Jidayuan high-speed railway is a Chinese high-speed railway connecting Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia with Datong and Yuanping, Shanxi Province. The line runs from Ulanqab railway station in Inner Mongolia, passes through Datong, Shuozhou, and Xinzhou in Shanxi along the way, and finally connects with the Datong–Xi'an high-speed railway. The total length of the line is about 269.6 km (167.5 mi), including 197.1 km (122.5 mi) in Shanxi. One of the important parts of the Hohhot–Nanning corridor, the Datong–Yuanping section is also an important part of the Beijing–Kunming corridor. The Jining–Datong–Yuanping HSR is an important route between Inner Mongolia and the south. After completion, the travel time between Hohhot and Taiyuan will be shortened from the current 5 hours to 3 hours.
