Gwar, often stylized in all caps as GWAR, is an American heavy metal band formed in Richmond, Virginia in 1984, composed of and operated by a frequently rotating line-up of musicians, artists and filmmakers collectively known as Slave Pit Inc. Following the death of frontman and lead singer Dave Brockie in 2014, the group has continued without any of its founding members.
Powerage is the fifth studio album by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It was the band's fourth studio album released internationally and the fifth to be released in Australia. David Murray Brockie was a Canadian-American musician, best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Gwar, in which he performed as Oderus Urungus. He performed as a bassist and lead singer in bands such as Death Piggy, X-Cops, and the Dave Brockie Experience (DBX), and starred in the comedy/horror TV sitcom Holliston as Oderus Urungus. Brockie died in 2014 of a heroin overdose.
Techno Destructo is a former character in the American heavy metal band Gwar, depicted as their long-term archnemesis. The character was portrayed and created by Gwar co-founder Hunter Jackson.
Sleazy P. Martini is a character played by American artist, comedian, filmmaker, musician, writer Don Drakulich in the heavy metal band GWAR. He wears two gigantic gold necklaces, one with a dollar symbol, and one with a skull and crossbones symbol, a large pompadour, and a bright purple suit, and is often seen wielding a sawed-off shotgun. Viva La Bands, Volume 2 is the second music compilation album by professional skateboarder and television personality Bam Margera, released on 4 September 2007. It is the second song on the album, and has been played live together with album's first track, "Dialectic Chaos", which has brought positive comparisons to the two opening tracks "Into the Lungs of Hell" and "Set the World Afire" from Megadeth's 1988 album, So Far, So Good... So What!.
