Warialda Standard is a newspaper produced at Warialda, New South Wales. It covers news in the towns of Warialda, Bingara, Coolatai, Croppa Creek, North Star, Yetman, and Delungra.
Warialda is a town in the Northwest Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia, in Gwydir Shire. Situated on the banks of Warialda Creek, the town's name means "Place of Wild Honey."in local aboriginal language. At the 2011 census, Warialda had a population of 1,120.

Bingara is currently the administrative centre for the Gwydir Shire that was created in 2003. Bingara is one of the few places in Australia where diamonds have been found. The Gwydir River being a main highlight of the town is a main catchment of the Murray-Darling System.
The Warialda Standard has been in publication since 1894 and is also known as TheWarialda Standard and Northern Districts' Advertiser. [1] In 1900, Robert Buist from the Warialda Standard was on the Committee of the New South Wales Country Press Association (NSWCPA). The Warialda Standard joined the NSWCPA in 1989. [2] The current editor of the publication is Laura Carroll. [3]
