Waterside Shops is an open-air mall located on Tamiami Trail in Pelican Bay, Florida, just to the north of Naples, Florida. Opened in November 1992,[ citation needed ] the mall features Saks Fifth Avenue as the anchor tenant. The mall opened with 85% of its retail space leased. [1] Since 2003, the mall has been managed by the Southfield, Michigan-based Forbes Company, which also operates several other upscale malls in Michigan and Florida. [2] Its open-air concourses feature waterfalls and landscaping. [3] Some of the more popular stores the mall has are Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tesla, Rolex, and among others.
In May 2020, it was revealed that Nordstrom would be closing this location permanently as part of a plan to close 16 locations nationwide. [4] [5] This will leave Saks Fifth Avenue as the only anchor store left. Von Maur may replace the vacant spot. [6]
On February 16, 2024 it was reported that Barnes & Noble would be closing its Waterside Shops outparcel location as a part of a nationwide restructuring effort to pivot towards off-mall operations better in line with their renewed store placement strategy. The store is expected to close permanently by the end of July 2024. This move will leave the mall with no junior anchor tenants.

Saks Fifth Avenue is an American luxury department store chain headquartered in New York City and founded by Andrew Saks. The original store opened in the F Street shopping district of Washington, D.C. in 1867. Saks expanded into Manhattan with its Herald Square store in 1902 and flagship store on Fifth Avenue in 1924. The chain was acquired by Tennessee-based Proffitt's, Inc. in 1998, and Saks, Inc. was acquired by the Canadian-based Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) in 2013.

Stanford Shopping Center is an upscale open air shopping mall located on Route 82 at Sand Hill Road in Palo Alto, California. It is on the campus of Stanford University although the university only owns the land and not the actual buildings or stores. Also, unlike the main academic campus, the shopping center and the neighboring Stanford University Medical Center are part of the city of Palo Alto, not the census-designated place (CDP) of Stanford, California. The shopping center buildings are 94.4% owned by Simon Property Group, which manages the property and leases the land from the university.

Tanger Outlets Palm Beach is a 440,000 sq ft (41,000 m2) outlet shopping center in West Palm Beach, Florida. Opened on February 14, 2014, it was developed on the site of the former Palm Beach Mall. Palm Beach Outlets features over 130 stores and restaurants including Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, J.Crew, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, and Vera Bradley. The center’s ownership entered into a venture with Tanger Outlets as of July 29, 2022 which provided for Tanger to replace New England Development to become the property’s manager and co-owner
The Gardens Mall is a two-story, enclosed shopping mall in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The mall features Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom. A former anchor store, Sears, closed in February 2024. The space sits vacant as of March 2024.
Dadeland Mall is a large enclosed shopping mall located in Kendall, Florida, in the Dadeland district. The mall, originally developed by the Joseph Meyerhoff Company of Baltimore, opened October 1, 1962 as a 535,000-square-foot (49,700 m2), open-air complex of 60 stores and services. Today the mall is about triple that size, with about 1,500,000 square feet (140,000 m2) of retail space. The mall features JCPenney, Macy's, Macy's Home Gallery and Kids, and Saks Fifth Avenue. The Dadeland North station is adjacent to the mall, and the Dadeland South station is located just south of the mall.
