Wayne John Holdsworth (born 5 October 1968 in Paddington,New South Wales) is a former Australian first-class cricketer who played for New South Wales from 1989 to 1996.
Holdsworth was a right-arm fast bowler who took 188 wickets for New South Wales at 32.13. [1] His best season came in 1992/93 when he took 53 first-class wickets. In this season he became the first player in the history of Sheffield Shield cricket to take seven wickets in an innings in three consecutive matches. The tally included career-best figures of 7/41,which he took in the Sheffield Shield final against Queensland,which NSW won. He was rewarded with a spot in the 1993 Ashes touring squad and although he didn't play a Test he did take a hat-trick against Derbyshire in a warm up match and played a one-day match against Ireland,and took 3 for 13 off 6 overs. [2] He also represented Australia B on a tour of Zimbabwe in 1991/92 under Mark Taylor and for Australia at the ICC Under 19's World Cup in 1988 which Australia won. [3] In the season 1989/90 he was chosen for the Prime Minister's XI game against Pakistan and has been selected in a Northern Territory Invitation XI,Bradman XI and Australian Masters XI teams.
The stockily-built "quick" struggled to recapture his form and a consistent place in the NSW team following his tour of England and played his final first-class match in 1996. Nicknamed "Cracker",in his début First Class game,he took a wicket with his first ever ball for New South Wales in 1989 [4] and also another wicket and a dropped catch in his first over.
He is all time wicket record holder at Bankstown in Sydney Grade with 511 First Grade wickets at 21.23 [5] He also was leading season wicket taker for Bankstown in the 1986/87,1995/96,1997/98,1999/00 and 2000/01.
William Joseph O'Reilly was an Australian cricketer,rated as one of the greatest bowlers in the history of the game. Following his retirement from playing,he became a well-respected cricket writer and broadcaster.

Brett Lee is an Australian former international cricketer,who played all three formats of the game. During his international career,Lee was recognised as one of the fastest bowlers in the world. Lee was the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the T20 format of the game which he did in 2007 ICC World Twenty20 in the inaugural tournament against Bangladesh,subsequently being the first bowler to do so at an ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Lee was also the first Australian bowler to take a hat-trick at a Cricket World Cup which he did in the 2003 Cricket World Cup Super Match game against Kenya.
The New South Wales men's cricket team are an Australian men's professional first class cricket team based in Sydney,New South Wales. The team competes in the Australian first class cricket competition known as the Sheffield Shield and the limited overs Marsh One-Day Cup. The team previously played in the now defunct Twenty20,Big Bash,which has since been replaced by the Big Bash League since the 2011–12 season. New South Wales were the inaugural winners of the Champions League Twenty20.

John Henry Webb Fingleton,was an Australian cricketer,journalist and commentator. The son of Australian politician James Fingleton,he was known for his dour defensive approach as a batsman,scoring five Test match centuries,representing Australia in 18 Tests between 1932 and 1938.
William Alfred Brown,was an Australian cricketer who played 22 Test matches between 1934 and 1948,captaining his country in one Test. A right-handed opening batsman,his partnership with Jack Fingleton in the 1930s is regarded as one of the finest in Australian Test history. After the interruption of World War II,Brown was a member of the team dubbed "The Invincibles",who toured England in 1948 without defeat under the leadership of Don Bradman. In a match in November 1947,Brown was the unwitting victim of the first instance of "Mankading".

Donald Tallon was an Australian cricketer who played 21 Test matches as a wicket-keeper between 1946 and 1953. He was widely regarded by his contemporaries as Australia's finest ever wicket-keeper and one of the best in Test history,with an understated style,an ability to anticipate the flight,length and spin of the ball and an efficient stumping technique. Tallon toured England as part of Don Bradman's Invincibles of 1948 and was recognised as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1949 for his performances during that season. During his Test career,Tallon made 58 dismissals comprising 50 catches and 8 stumpings.
Wayne Norman Phillips is a former Australian cricketer. A right-handed batsman he played first-class cricket for Victoria from 1988 to 1994. He has a single Test cap for the match against India at Perth in February 1992.

Scott Michael Boland is an Australian international cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler,he also plays domestically for Victoria and the Hobart Hurricanes. In March 2019,he was named the Sheffield Shield Player of the Year by Cricket Australia. Boland is one of a handful of Indigenous Australians to be selected to play for Australia at international level and,as of December 2021,is only the second male Aboriginal player to have played Test cricket for Australia,after Jason Gillespie. Boland was a member of the Australian team that won the 2023 ICC World Test Championship final.
