Wells Fargo Tower (also known as Norwest Tower and Robert Driscoll Hotel) is a 20-story high-rise office building located at 615 North Upper Broadway Street in the city of Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. [2] At the time of its completion in 1942, it was the tallest building in the city, and remained so for several decades. [2] The building open on May 25, 1942, and it was built by Clara Driscoll and named after her father Robert Driscoll. [3]

The Shipt Tower is a 34-story, 454-foot (138 m) tall office building in Birmingham, Alabama. Built in 1986 as the corporate headquarters for SouthTrust Corporation, the building was known as the SouthTrust Tower until 2005, when SouthTrust completed its merger with Wachovia and it became the Wachovia Tower. It became the Wells Fargo Tower in September 2010 after Wells Fargo completed its purchase of Wachovia and a new logo was placed atop the building. Shipt, a local start-up and subsidiary of the Target Corporation announced in January 2019 that it would become the anchor tenant of the building in 2020. The Tower was rebranded as the Shipt Tower on May 23, 2020, when corporate signage was placed atop the tower.

One Wells Fargo Center is a skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the headquarters for Wells Fargo's east coast division. At 588 feet (179 m) tall and 42 stories, it is the fifth tallest building in Charlotte. When it was opened on September 14, 1988, it was the tallest building in North Carolina. In 1992, One Wells Fargo Center was surpassed by the Bank of America Corporate Center, and again in 2002 by Hearst Tower, another Bank of America building. It is considered Charlotte's first postmodern high-rise.

Clara Driscoll (philanthropist)

Clara Driscoll, was a Texas-born businesswoman, philanthropist, and historic preservationist who provided the money to save the Alamo Mission in San Antonio. In 1967, a Texas Historical Marker honoring Driscoll was placed at 2312 San Gabriel Ave., Austin. In 1978, Texas Historical Marker number 1287 honoring Driscoll was placed at the Driscoll Family Mausoleum, Alamo Masonic Cemetery, East Commerce St., San Antonio.
