Joel Wesley Morgan (born September 5, 1973), who goes by the stage name Wess Morgan, is an American gospel musician, and pastor. He started his music career, in 2006, with the release of Look at Me Now by Oak Tree Records. His second album, Under an Open Heaven, Vol. 1, was released in 2010 by Bowtie World Music alongside Flipside Music, and this album was his Billboard magazine breakthrough release on the Gospel Albums chart. The song, "I Choose to Worship", was put on the WOW Gospel 2012 album. The subsequent album, Under an Open Heaven, Vol. 2, was released by Bowtie World Music in 2012, and it charted on the aforementioned chart. He released, Livin', in 2014 by Bowtie Music, and it charted on the aforementioned chart. Wess Morgan was a cast member on Tyler Perry's stage play Laugh to Keep from Crying

Early life

Morgan was born in Moss Point, Mississippi, [1] on September 5, 1973, [2] [3] as Joel Wesley Morgan, [4] whose father is Joseph and mother Yolanda, and he has an older brother, Joseph, and a younger sister, and they were raised in Nashville, Tennessee. [1]

Music career

His music career commenced in 2006, with the album, Look at Me Now, that was released by Oak Tree Records. [3] The subsequent album, Under an Open Heaven, Vol. 1, was released on October 19, 2010 by Bowtie World Music alongside Flipside Music, [3] and this album was his Billboard magazine breakthrough release on the Gospel Albums chart at No. 10. [5] This album had the single, I Choose to Worship, that charted at No. 4 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart, and was placed on the compilation album, WOW Gospel 2012 . [5] He released, Under an Open Heaven, Vol. 2, on December 11, 2012, [3] and this charted on the aforementioned chart at No. 31. [5] His fourth album, Livin', was released in 2014 by Bowtie Music, [3] and this placed at No. 6 on the Gospel Albums chart. [5]

Personal life

Morgan was married for eighteen years to Betsy, they lived in Nashville, Tennessee, that ended in divorce in the middle of 2013. He married Danielle Walker in January 2014, she gave birth to his child later that year. [6]

Craig Morgan Greer is an American country music artist. WOW Gospel 2007 is a gospel music compilation album from the WOW series. Released January 30, 2007, it showcases thirty-one contemporary Gospel songs on a double CD set. It reached 21 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2007, and made number one on the Top Gospel Albums chart. The album cover pays tribute to Atlanta, Georgia.

WOW Gospel 2012 is a gospel music compilation album from the award-winning WOW series. Released on January 24, 2012, the double CD album features thirty contemporary gospel hits. The album cover pays tribute to Los Angeles, California, with a side tribute to the San Francisco Bay Area on the back album cover notes. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard Gospel Albums Chart, and number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Her second album, Live: The Worship Experience as Kathy Taylor, was released by Tyscot Records in 2009. The album placed on the Gospel Albums along with chartings on The Billboard 200 and Independent Albums charts.

Isaac Thompson Carree III is an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 1990, with the Gospel legend John P. His subsequent album, Awesome, was released by A&M Records, which was his second and last album to chart on the aforementioned chart. He released five more albums, but they did not chart.

Timothy Bowman Jr. is an American gospel musician. He started his music career in 2012 with the release of Beautiful by Trippin 'N' Rhythm Records. This album was his breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums and Independent Albums charts. The song "He Will", featuring Vickie Winans, his paternal aunt, charted on the Billboard magazine Hot Gospel Songs chart. He is a Grammy, Dove, and Stellar Award nominated artist. Keith Anthony Staten is an American gospel musician. He started his solo music career, in 1990, with the release of, From the Heart, by Lection Records. This was his breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart. His subsequent album, No Greater Love, was released in 1995 by Glorious Music, but it failed to chart. The third album, Worship in the House, was released by Word Records in tandem with Epic Records in 1996, and this album charted on the Christian Albums chart. He released, Glory in the House, in 1995 with the aforementioned labels, however this time around it charted on the Gospel Albums chart.

<i>Open Heaven / River Wild</i> 2015 live album and Video album by Hillsong Worship

Open Heaven / River Wild is the 24th live album of Hillsong Worship, which consists of several worship pastors from Australian church Hillsong Church. The album was recorded during the 2015 Hillsong Conference at the Sydney SuperDome from 29 June until 3 July 2015 and was released on 16 October 2015, under Hillsong Music, Sparrow Records and Capitol Christian Music Group; this marks the first time the church's annual worship album was recorded entirely during the conference, as opposed to the annual July releases that coincide with the event. Michael Guy Chislett oversaw production of the album, while Hillsong senior pastor Brian Houston and his son, worship leader Joel Houston, served as executive producers.
