"When Dreams Turn to Dust" is a 1997 single by British dance-pop singer-songwriter Cathy Dennis. The song was the final single from her third album, Am I the Kinda Girl? (1996), and the last to be released by Dennis. The single was only released in the UK and reached No. 43 in June 1997. The accompanying music video featured a then unknown Vernon Kay.
British magazine Music Week rated the song four out of five, writing, "Following up Waterloo Sunset was never going to be easy, but Dennis pulls it off with this simple yet charming song penned with Guy Chambers." [1]

"Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex" is the debut single of English singer-songwriter Rachel Stevens. It was released on 15 September 2003 as the lead single from her debut solo album, Funky Dory. Originally written for Britney Spears, the song was produced by Swedish duo Bloodshy & Avant. The single is Stevens's most successful single to date, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart. It was the 22nd-best-selling single of 2003 in the United Kingdom and has sold over 284,000 copies in the UK as of September 2021. Worldwide, the single peaked at number two in Denmark and earned a gold certification in Norway, where it reached number five.
Carry On Up the Charts: The Best of the Beautiful South is an album by English Alternative rock band The Beautiful South. It is the group's fifth album and their first greatest hits collection. It was a major commercial success, reaching number one in the UK Albums Chart and going on to become the second biggest selling album of 1994.
"Love Is a Stranger" is a song by the British pop duo Eurythmics. Originally released in late 1982, the single was commercially unsuccessful, but it was re-released in 1983, reaching the UK top 10. The single was re-released again in 1991, to promote Eurythmics' Greatest Hits album.

The song was included in the Come on Over Tour and in a medley for the Up! Tour. Twain has stated that "When" is her favorite song from Come On Over. "A Neverending Dream" is a 1996 song by German group X-Perience, released as the second single from their debut album, Magic Fields (1996). It charted in Germany, Hungary and Switzerland and was the band's biggest hit. The song entered the German Singles Chart at number 91, went to number four in October/November 1996, and spent over 18 weeks in the charts. Over 350,000 copies of the singles were sold in Germany and the single was eventually certified Gold. On the Eurochart Hot 100, "A Neverending Dream" peaked at number 29 in December 1996. A music video was also produced to promote the single.
"Shock Your Mama" is a song by American singer-songwriter-actress Debbie Gibson, released as the second single from her fourth album, Body, Mind, Soul (1993). Co-written by Gibson with Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers, this single was co-produced with by the latter two. The version used as the A-side is a radio edit of the LP Version, entitled the "London Apprentice Edit". Released in March 1993, the song stalled at No. 74 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was banned in South Korea and omitted in the country's release of Body, Mind, Soul due to music censorship laws prohibiting sexually suggestive lyrics.

"Only When I Sleep" is a song by Celtic folk rock band the Corrs, released in September 1997 as the first single from their second album, Talk on Corners (1997). The song focuses on being in love with someone in your dreams, not anyone in reality. The track was also included on The Corrs' album Dreams: The Ultimate Corrs Collection in 2006. "It Began in Afrika" is a song by British electronic music duo the Chemical Brothers. It was released as the first single from their fourth album Come with Us on 10 September 2001. Originally named "Electronic Battle Weapon 5" and released for DJs as a white label in June 2001, "It Began in Afrika" became a hit in clubs and was renamed for its official release. It was released by FFRR as the fourth single from Dennis's second album, Into the Skyline (1992), a full year after her previous single from the album. In the UK, it reached number 23 on the UK Singles Chart, number seven on the UK Dance Singles Chart and number one on the UK Club Chart, making it the most successful single from the album. "Why" was dedicated in memory of Philip Hall, who died in December 1993.

In 1990–1991 it was remixed and included on Dennis' first album, Move to This (1990), and re-released as a single, becoming a top 10 hit in the US. The song was co-written by Dancin' Danny D, a.k.a. D Mob, who also produced the track and sang backing vocals. Poku's vocals are often mistaken for Rick Astley. Two different music videos were produced for the song.

In Canada and New Zealand, the single reached number 28, and in the United Kingdom, it debuted at number 34; it is to date SWV's last charting single in all three countries.
