Shenieka Russell-Metcalf of Top Country wrote that the song "shows his intimate side." [4] Dustin Blumhagen of Country Standard Time called it "a radio friendly mid tempo love song, which can easily be mistaken for a Toby Keith hit." [5]

The music video was directed by Stephano Barberis and premiered in September 2013. It was filmed in Phoenix, Arizona. [6]
