The movie was filmed at ten locations in Southern California. It was the largest production in San Diego County since Titanic. The set for Bethlehem was shot in Lakeside because the surrounding terrain. [1] Two locations in Ramona, California were used and owners in the area provided livestock such as camels for the film. The film premiered on November 18, 2022, in Los Angeles. [4] It released on November 24, 2022, and a red carpet event was held at Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. on December 2, 2022. [5]
