Widowermaker is the third studio EP by American punk band Butthole Surfers, released in September 1989. All songs were written by Butthole Surfers.
This was the band's last release on Touch and Go Records.
The UK edition, on Blast First, was originally released on 10" vinyl. It was later reissued on a mini CD with a plastic clip-on cover to fit in all CD players.
It has the same tracks with slightly different names and in a different order to the US release.
"1401" is the true name of "The Colored FBI Guy", as it is always used on set lists. The name is a reference to the address of the house that Butthole Surfers lived in at the time. [2]

Melvins are an American rock band formed in 1983, in Montesano, Washington. Their early work was key to the development of both grunge and sludge metal. They originally performed as only a trio but later also sometimes appeared as a quartet with either two drummers or two bassists. Since 1984, vocalist and guitarist Buzz Osborne and drummer Dale Crover have been constant members. The band was named after a supervisor at a Thriftway in Montesano, where Osborne also worked as a clerk; "Melvin" was disliked by other employees, and the band's members felt it to be an appropriately ridiculous name.
Butthole Surfers is an American rock band formed in San Antonio, Texas, by singer Gibby Haynes and guitarists Paul Leary and Jonathan Grisham in 1981. The band has had numerous personnel changes, but its core lineup of Haynes, Leary, and drummer King Coffey has been consistent since 1983. Teresa Nervosa served as second drummer from 1983 to 1985, 1986 to 1989, and 2009. The band has also employed a variety of bass players, most notably Jeff Pinkus.
Electriclarryland is the seventh studio album by the American rock band Butthole Surfers, released May 6, 1996. This album brought Butthole Surfers their first Top 40 hit with "Pepper". The album was certified gold by the RIAA on August 20, 1996. The title of this album is a parody of Jimi Hendrix's third studio album entitled Electric Ladyland. This is the second time the band has used a parody title for one of their releases. The first was Hairway to Steven, which references the song "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. The album's original title was going to be Oklahoma!, but fearing lawsuits, Capitol forced the band to change the name.

piouhgd is the fifth studio album by American alternative rock band Butthole Surfers, released in 1991 on Rough Trade Records. The album was reissued on Capitol Records in 1992, due to the album being out-of-print following the American branch of Rough Trade closing its doors the previous year. Capitol had bought the rights to the album after its initial release, in order to lure the Butthole Surfers away from other labels. The album was reissued yet again in October 2007 by Butthole Surfers' own label, Latino Buggerveil, and included the four songs from their 1989 EP Widowermaker as bonus tracks.
