Wila Quta (Aymara wila blood, blood-red, quta lake, [2] [3] "red lake", also spelled Huilacota) is a mountain in the Wansu mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,100 metres (16,732 ft) high. It is situated in the Apurímac Region, Antabamba Province, Antabamba District, and in the Arequipa Region, La Unión Province, Huaynacotas District. Wila Quta lies west of Taruja Marka and Allqa Walusa and southeast of Wallqa Wallqa. [1]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

Wila Quta (Oruro)

Wila Quta is a mountain in the Andes in Bolivia reaching up to 5,144 metres (16,877 ft) above sea level. It is located in the Oruro Department, Challapata Province, in the south-east of the Challapata Municipality. Wila Quta is situated south of the Jach'a River and north of Nacional Route 1. It lies next to the mountain Wila Qullu, northwest of it, which reaches the same height.

Wila Quta (Larecaja)

Wila Quta is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,960 metres (16,273 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality, north of the massif of Janq'u Uma and Illampu of the Cordillera Real. The river Janq'u Uma Jawira originates south of the mountain. It flows to the north-east.

Wila Quta is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 4,260 m (13,980 ft). It is located in the Cochabamba Department, Ayopaya Province, Ayopaya Municipality. Wila Quta lies north of the Wila Quta River (Huilakhota, Wila Kkota), northeast of Lip'ichi.
