Will You Wait for Me is the third EP by American rock band The Colourist. Released on July 31, 2015, the album was the first release of new songs since their self-titled full-length debut album in early 2014. [1]

Background

In March 2015, a single entitled "When I'm Away" was published, and streamed by Los Angeles radio station KSRY FM. [2] This song was then used as the theme song for a Hulu television commercial the following May. [3] Two months later, another song named "Romancing" was published on indieshuffle.com. [4] One week after the EP was released, a music video was published for the song. [5]

Critical reception

Laura Neumayer, a writer for American University student newspaper The Eagle Online describes "When I'm Away" as "complete with a groovy guitar riff reminiscent of The Lighthouse and the Whaler's "Venice"". [6] Ian Hays of Culture Collide described "Set it Right" as being "more rock influenced" where "heavy drums were at the forefront of the song". [7]

The Material is an American rock band from San Diego, California. Colleen D'Agostino (vocals) moved to San Diego to pursue a music degree at San Diego State University. In her third year, she began playing with Jon Moreaux (guitar) and Noah Vowles (drums). The three added bassist Kevin Falk, formerly of Every Time I Die and Between the Buried and Me, and started writing songs for their first demo. Kevin was replaced by Brian Miller (bass), and Roi Elam (guitar) joined shortly after. Face Up is the fifth solo studio album by British singer Lisa Stansfield, released by Arista Records on 20 June 2001. It was her first new studio album since 1997's Lisa Stansfield. Stansfield co-wrote songs for the album with her husband Ian Devaney and Richard Darbyshire. Devaney also produced all the tracks.
