William Motti (born 25 July 1964 in Bondy) is a retired French decathlete.
His personal best of 8327 points were achieved at the Europa cup in Arles (FR)1987.

A pocket is a group of combat forces that have been isolated by opposing forces from their logistical base and other friendly forces. In mobile warfare, such as blitzkrieg, salients were more likely to be cut off into pockets, which became the focus of battles of annihilation.
Encirclement is a military term for the situation when a force or target is isolated and surrounded by enemy forces. The situation is highly dangerous for the encircled force. At the strategic level, it cannot receive supplies or reinforcements, and on the tactical level, the units in the force can be subject to an attack from several sides. Lastly, since the force cannot retreat, unless it is relieved or can break out, it must fight to the death or surrender.

Motti Ivanir is a former footballer mostly known for his time in Maccabi Tel Aviv, being the first Israeli to play in the Eredivisie and representing Israel at the national level. Ivanir now works as a manager, is currently managing Hapoel Nof HaGalil at Liga Leumit.

Shokolad, Menta, Mastik was an Israeli female musical trio, active in the 1970s, composed of Yardena Arazi, Ruthie Holzman and either Tami Azaria (1972-1973) or Leah Lupatin. All the women served in the IDF as part of the Nahal Ensemble. The trio performed both in Israel and internationally, especially after being the 1976 entry to the Eurovision Song Contest in The Hague with "Emor Shalom". Leah Lupatin later worked with Eurovision winners Milk and Honey, replacing Gali Atari to perform 1979 winning Eurovision entry "Hallelujah" in live concerts, including the 1981 Songs of Europe programme. Lupatin backed Yardena Arazi when she took part in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988.
