William P. Bowden is a retired major general of the United States Air Force.
Bowden was born in Swifton, Arkansas, in 1932 and graduated from Swifton High School in 1950. He attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville graduating in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science degree and then went on to graduate from George Washington University with a master's degree in Business Administration and Auburn University with a master's degree in Political Science (US Air Force web site, Bio #4748). Bowden received his military commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Arkansas in 1954. [1]
His professional military education includes Air Command and Staff College and the Air War College. Bowden also served as a faculty instructor and chief of the Curriculum Planning Division at the Air War College. [2] Bowden is a master navigator with more than 4,500 flying hours. His military decorations and awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster and Air Force Commendation Medal, (US Air Force Web site, Bio #4748). Bowden was also awarded the U.S. Air Force Association's Thomas P. Gerrity Award for Excellence in Logistics Management. General Bowden's command accomplishments include being named as assistant deputy chief of staff, logistics operations, Headquarters Air Force Logistics Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, in 1980. In 1981, Bowden was assigned to Air Force headquarters as deputy director for logistics plans and programs, and in 1982 being named director for logistics plans and operations. In 1983, Bowden was named as Air Force Logistics Command's deputy chief of staff for logistics operations (US Air Force Web site, Bio # 4748). In 1984, Bowden was named chief of staff for Air Force Logistics Command. Bowden retired from the United States Air Force in 1989. In 2005, Bowden was inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame honoring him for his dedicated service to the United States Air Force. [3]

The United States Military Training Mission (USMTM) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a Security Assistance Organization (SAO) which manages and is primarily funded by Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases between the United States Government and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Roger Alan Brady is a former United States Air Force four-star general who last served as the 33rd Commander, U.S. Air Forces in Europe which he also concurrently served as commander of NATO Allied Air Command, Ramstein and director of Joint Air Power Competence Center, Kalkar, Germany from January 9, 2008, to December 13, 2010. Prior to that he served as deputy chief of staff for manpower and personnel from June 2004 to January 2008. As commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe, he has responsibility for Air Force activities in the U.S. Africa Command theater. He retired from the Air Force on February 1, 2011.
The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma is one of the largest units in the Air Force Materiel Command. The complex performs programmed depot maintenance on the C/KC-135, B-1B, B-52 and E-3 aircraft; expanded phase maintenance on the Navy E-6 aircraft; and maintenance, repair and overhaul of F100, F101, F108, F110, F117, F118, F119, F135, and TF33 engines for the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, Navy and foreign military sales. Mark Anthony Welsh III is Dean of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University and a retired United States Air Force four-star general. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief of Staff of the United States Air Force and a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was appointed by President Barack Obama and confirmed by the United States Senate. Prior to that, General Welsh served as Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe, as the Associate Director for Military Affairs of the Central Intelligence Agency, and as the Vice Commander of Air Education and Training Command. In earlier portions of his career, he served as a fighter pilot and was a commander at the squadron, group and wing level, in addition to assignments in training, operations, intelligence and acquisitions. He also served as the Commandant of the United States Air Force Academy. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, and entered the Air Force in June 1976 as a graduate of the Air Force Academy.

In 1998, he became the vice commander of the 341st Space Wing. He assumed command of the wing later that year. In 2000, he was assigned to Air Force Space Command as deputy director of operations. He became commander of the 45th Space Wing at Patrick Air Force Base.
