William Reed (born 21 July 2005) is a Marshallese sprinter. He competed for the Marshall Islands in the men's 100 metres at the 2024 Summer Olympics. [1] [2] He placed sixth in the first heat of the preliminaries with a time of 11.29 seconds and did not advance to the next round. [3] [4]

Roman William Cress is a track athlete from the Marshall Islands. He was born to an American father and Marshallese mother. Cress attended South High School and participated in Track as a student. He then attended MCTC, transferred to St. Thomas for his bachelor's degree and participated in Track as a student athlete.

For the first time, in an effort to promote gender equality, two flagbearers, one male and one female were allowed at the Olympics. Furgeson and Kinono lead the Marshall Islands squad as the flagbearers in the opening ceremony. The Marshall Islands, however, has yet to win its first ever Olympic medal.

Kenaz Kaniwete is an I-Kiribati sprinter. He competed for Kiribati in the men's 100 metres at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He finished fifth in Heat 2 of the preliminaries clocking a personal best of 11.29 seconds, however he did not advance to the next round.
