William Shelford

William ("Bill") Thomas Cornelius Shelford (born 1943) is a Deputy Lieutenant for East Sussex. [1] [2] He was the 2009/2010 High Sheriff of East Sussex. [3] He was previously the Senior Partner of CMS Cameron McKenna [4] and before that he was a specialist in Property Law. He is Chairman of Chailey Heritage School [5] and a Trustee of Chailey Heritage Foundation. [6] [7] [8]

He was educated at Eton College and Christ Church, Oxford where he studied Law. [7]

Chailey Heritage School is a special school located in North Chailey, East Sussex, England. It is owned and operated by the Chailey Heritage Foundation. The school is for children and young adults, aged between 3 and 19, with complex physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties. The school has a sixth form. It is a charity. There is boarding accommodation on the site. NHS services are based at the same location.
