William Vasiliades (born 22 November 1987) is a Cypriot male weightlifter, competing in the 77 kg category and representing Cyprus at international competitions. He participated at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the 77 kg event.. [1]

Weightlifting is one of the sports at the quadrennial Commonwealth Games competition. It has been a Commonwealth Games sport since 1950. It is a core sport and must be included in the sporting programme of each edition of the Games.

Nauru at the 2010 Commonwealth Games Sporting event delegation

Nauru took part in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, sending six athletes to compete in boxing and weightlifting. Nauru has won medals in every edition of the Commonwealth Games since it first took part in 1990, and in particular won fifteen medals in weightlifting at the 2002 Games in Manchester.

Katulu Ravi Kumar Indian weightlifter

Katulu Ravi Kumar is an Indian weightlifter from Odisha. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, he won a gold medal in the Men's 69 kg (152 lb) weightlifting category.

Halil Zorba is a British weightlifter. He represented England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and was in contention for the British team for the 2012 Summer Olympics but was ultimately not chosen for the team despite being British Champion in his weight class. He competes part-time, continuing with his career as a civil engineer.
