Wolchon Station is an underground of Line 1 of the Daegu Metro in Dalseo District, Daegu, South Korea.
From this station, you can take the bus route 618 to Daegu Institute of Technology, Bonri-dong, and Cathedral East. There is a Daegu Youth Training Center nearby, and since there is a station at a large range, there is a lot of fluid population around the station, and there are many apartments and schools, so the utilization rate is not very good.

Gyeongsan is satellite city in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Its western border abuts the metropolitan city of Daegu, and much of Gyeongsan lies within the Daegu metropolitan area.
On February 18, 2003, an arsonist set fire to a Daegu Metro subway train as it arrived at Jungangno station in central Daegu, South Korea. The resulting blaze, which spread when a second train stopped at the same station, killed 192 people and injured another 151. It remains the deadliest loss of life in a single deliberate incident in South Korean peacetime history, surpassing the 1982 shooting rampage committed by Woo Bum-kon.

Camp Carroll Army Base is located on the southeast portion of the peninsula of South Korea, in the village of Waegwan, approximately 20 km from the city of Daegu. Camp Carroll is bound by urban areas on the northwest, west, and southwest. Hilly forested areas bound the base on the north and east. Camp Carroll has been a supply staging ground for U.S. military operations on the peninsula and in the Far East since the late 1950s. Carroll, a posthumous recipient of the Distinguished Service Cross for his acts of heroism during the Korean War.
