Haeundae District is a district (gu) of Busan, South Korea.

The district's population is concentrated in the valley of the Oncheoncheon stream, a tributary of the Suyeonggang.

Its name was formed by taking the first and last syllables of the names of its only 2 legal dong; Yeonsan-Dong and Geoje-Dong. Busan City Hall is located in Yeonje-gu.

Hyupsung High School and USFK Camp Walker is located in the area. In contains Kyungbok Middle School.
Seo District is a gu, or district, in western Daegu, South Korea. A major transportation nexus, it is transected by the Gyeongbu, Guma, and Jungang Expressways. It is also connected to the downtown region and to Dalseong County by Daegu Subway Line 2. The Gyeongbu Line railroad also passes through Seo-gu, but no major stations are located there.

As of 2020, Dobong has a population of 315,979 and an area of 20.71 square kilometres (8.00 sq mi), and is divided into four administrative neighborhoods. The 1995 Daegu gas explosions occurred at the Daegu Metro Line 1 construction site in Sangin-dong, Daegu, South Korea, on April 28, 1995. The explosion resulted in the death of at least 101 people, including 42 Yeongnam Middle School students, with as many as 202 people injured.
