Woodburn High School (WHS) is a four-year public high school located in Woodburn, Oregon, United States.
Via funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the WHS campus is divided into four smaller schools and focus on different areas of study:
Since July 3, 2001, AIS, WAAST, and WACA have offered International Baccalaureate courses and students can earn a full IB diploma. [3] WeBSS is the only school on the campus that offers Advanced Placement courses.
In 2012, 3 Woodburn High School Students were charged with first-degree arson and reckless endangerment after they set fire part of the building while playing around with Hand sanitizer and a lighter. The fire caused an estimated $5.5 million in damages, Only 1 student was sentenced to 4 days in Juvenile detention. [4] [5]
In 2018, 255 of the school's seniors received a high school diploma, 25 seniors dropped out. [6]
In 2022, 72% of the school's seniors received a high school diploma. Of 406 students, 320 graduated and 86 dropped out. [7]
In 2019 the Woodburn Academy of Arts, Science & Technology was ranked 6th on U.S. News' list of best high schools in Oregon. [8]

Woodburn is a city in Marion County, Oregon, United States. Incorporated in 1889, the community had been platted in 1871 after the arrival of the railroad. The city is located in the northern end of the Willamette Valley between Portland and Salem. Interstate 5 connects it to major cities to the north and south. Oregon routes 211, 214, 219, and 99E also serve the city, as do Union Pacific and Willamette Valley Railway freight rail lines.
Katherine Lynne Bjelland is an American musician. She rose to prominence as the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter of the alternative rock band Babes in Toyland, which she formed in 1987. She has been noted for her unusual vocal style alternately consisting of shrill screams, whispering, and speaking in tongues, as well as for her guitar playing style, which incorporates "jagged" tones with "psychotic rockabilly rhythms".

The Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering (BASE) is a public school in the U.S. state of Oregon. Part of the Beaverton School District (BSD), the school offers grades 6 through 12. Opened in 2007, the school was housed in the Capital Center at NE 185th Avenue and Walker Road in Hillsboro, then named the Health and Science School (HS2). From 2016 to 2021, the school is directly adjacent to another BSD option school, the School of Science & Technology (SST), with the relocation of that school to the Capital Center at the end of 2015. The school hosts a HOSA-Future Health Professionals chapter. For the 2020–2021 school year and onward, this school and the neighboring school, the School of Science and Technology have merged to become the Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering.
