The World Trade Center Chittagong (also called World Trade Center or WTC Chittagong), is a 90.70 meters (297.6 feet), 21-floor complex located in Agrabad Commercial Area, Chittagong, Bangladesh. [1] [2] The building was opened in 2016. [3]

Chittagong Second-largest city in Bangladesh

Chittagong, officially Chattogram, is a major coastal city and financial centre in southeastern Bangladesh. The city had a population of more than 8.7 million in 2017, making it the second-largest city in the country. It is the administrative seat of an eponymous District and Division. Construction of a larger Dhaka-Chittagong expressway has been proposed to decrease traffic on the highway.

The Padma Oil Company Limited formerly known as Burmah Eastern Limited, is a subsidiary of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC), a statutory organization of the government under the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources. It is registered with the joint-stock company as a public limited company under the Company Act 1913. The company's head office is located on Strand Road in Chittagong, officially known as Chattogram. It is one of three state owned oil distribution companies in Bangladesh with the others being Jamuna Oil Company and Meghna Petroleum Limited.

T K Group of Industries

The T K Group of Industries is a Bangladeshi industrial Conglomerate known for its vegetable oil business. It also has interests in steel, shipbuilding, pulp and paper, plastics, cement, and textiles. The conglomerate is headquartered in Chittagong. The group is one of the top VAT payers in the country.

Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury is a standing committee member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party, and former Minister of Commerce. He hails from a political family in Chittagong and headed the city's BNP unit momentarily to organize the party.
