The World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana Tag Team Championship is the primary tag team title in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana. The title was introduced in 2013. There have been a total of twenty-one reigns shared between eighteen different teams consisting of twenty-six distinctive champions and three vacancies. [3]
Like most professional wrestling championships, the title is won as a result of a scripted match. The current champions are Ayaka (Ayako Sato and Hanako Nakamori) who are in their second reign as a team whilst it's the third individually for Sato and the second for Nakamori.
On December 15, 2012, Diana announced the establishment of the Tag Team Championship, with a tournament to be held in the following month to crown the first champions. [1] On January 28, 2013, Kaoru Ito and Tomoko Watanabe became the inaugural champions after defeating Kyoko Inoue and Sareee in a tournament final. [2]
As of July7, 2024, there have been 22 reigns between 18 teams composed of 27 individual champions and three vacancies. Kaoru Ito and Tomoko Watanabe were the inaugural champions. Luminous (Haruka Umesaki and Miyuki Takase) holds the record for most reigns as a team at three, while individually, Kyoko Inoue has the most reigns at four. Ito and Watanabe's second reign is the longest at 512 days, while Harassment (Sakura Hirota and Yumi Ohka)'s reign is the shortest which lasted less than a day.
Ayaka (Ayako Sato and Hanako Nakamori) are the current champions in their second reign as a team, while individually, this is the Sato's third reign. They won the title by defeating Double Inoue (Kyoko Inoue and Takako Inoue) in a Diana event which took part on March 10, 2024, in Kawasaki, Japan.

Kyoko Inoue is a Japanese female professional wrestler currently signed to World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana. She has held the WWWA World Single Championship three times, and is the first woman to win a men's title in Japan.
Rimi Yokota is a Japanese professional wrestler and later wrestling trainer, who wrestled under the name Jaguar Yokota (ジャガー横田). She is currently signed to World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, where she is the leader of the CRYSIS stable. Yokota is widely considered one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time, and during her heyday in the early 1980s, was considered one of the best wrestlers in the world, irrespective of gender.
The International Ribbon Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling tag team championship owned by the Ice Ribbon promotion. The championship was introduced on April 4, 2007, at an Ice Ribbon and Neo Japan Ladies Pro Wrestling co-promoted event, where the Neo Machineguns defeated Aya Yuki and Ran Yu-Yu in the finals of a tournament to become the inaugural champions. Championship matches have a 20-minute time limit, and the title is vacated in the event of a time limit draw. Though primarily contested for by female wrestlers, seven male wrestlers; Masako Takanashi, Chounko/Choun Shiryu, Yuki Sato, Jun Kasai, Isami Kodaka, Gentaro and Makoto Oishi, have also held the title.
Kaoru Maeda is a Japanese retired professional wrestler better known by the ring name KAORU. Billed as the "Original Hardcore Queen", Kaoru is known for her wrestling style, which combines high-flying with hardcore wrestling. Trained by the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) promotion, Maeda worked in both Japan and Mexico in the late 80s and early 90s, before making her breakthrough in the Gaea Japan promotion, where she most notably was a founding member of the D-Fix stable. After the folding of Gaea Japan in 2005, Maeda became a freelancer, though closely affiliating herself with the Oz Academy promotion. After returning from a three-year-long injury break in March 2014, Maeda resumed working as a freelancer, before signing with the new Marvelous promotion in January 2015.
The Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling tag team championship owned by the Pure-J promotion. The title is named after the Daily Sports newspaper.
The Princess of Pro-Wrestling (POP) Championship is a Japanese women's professional wrestling championship owned by the Pure-J promotion. The title was created in the JDStar promotion on June 24, 2006, when Fuka defeated Natsuki☆Head in the finals of a tournament to become the inaugural champion. On June 17, 2007, JWP Joshi Puroresu's reigning JWP Junior Champion Arisa Nakajima won the title on JDStar's second to last event. Though the two titles were not formally unified, they were defended together from this point onward. The titles remained together in JWP for nearly a decade, before it was announced on February 8, 2017 that the promotion was shutting down. As a result, the two titles were once again be separated, with the JWP title remaining with the promotion's production company, while the POP title moved on to Command Bolshoi's follow-up promotion to JWP, later named Pure-J. Between the transition from JWP to Pure-J, the former JWP roster held events under the name Dream Joshi Puroresu, where the POP title was also defended.
Arisa Nakajima is a Japanese professional wrestler. Trained by the Major Girl's Fighting AtoZ promotion, Nakajima made her debut in January 2006, but when the promotion folded the following May, she transferred over to JWP Joshi Puroresu, where she became a two-time JWP Junior and Princess of Pro-Wrestling Champion. Nakajima retired from professional wrestling in June 2009, but made her return to JWP in April 2012. The following December, Nakajima won JWP's top title, the JWP Openweight Championship, for the first time. She eventually went on to become a record four-time JWP Openweight Champion, while also winning the JWP Tag Team and Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Championships twice, before quitting JWP in December 2016. The following month, Nakajima joined the Seadlinnng promotion.
Yumiko Hotta is a Japanese professional wrestler and mixed martial artist. Hotta was trained by and started her career in the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) promotion in June 1985. She worked for the promotion until 2003, becoming a three-time WWWA World Single and WWWA World Tag Team Champion. In June 2003, Hotta took over the Hyper Visual Fighting Arsion promotion and renamed it Major Girl's Fighting AtoZ. Under Hotta's leadership, the promotion lasted only three years, before folding in 2006, after which Hotta became a freelancer. In January 2011, Hotta joined the new Universal Woman's Pro Wrestling Reina promotion, but just sixteen months later she announced that the promotion was folding. Afterwards, she affiliated herself with the World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana promotion, becoming the leader of the villainous Bousou-gun stable. She resigned from Diana in July 2016 to once again become a freelancer. Since 1995, Hotta has also fought several mixed martial arts matches, mostly at events put together by joshi puroresu promotions.
The Sendai Girls World Championship is a women's professional wrestling championship owned by the Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling. The title, which is situated at the top of Sendai's championship hierarchy, was introduced on September 17, 2011, and the inaugural champion was crowned on October 11, 2015, when Meiko Satomura defeated Ayako Hamada.

Kyushu Pro-Wrestling is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion based in Fukuoka, the largest city on the Japanese island of Kyushu. The promotion was founded in late 2007 by Kaientai Dojo alumnus Ryota Chikuzen, and officially launched on July 6, 2008. A notable feature of the promotion is that it is the first professional wrestling promotion to operate as a nonprofit organization.
