The World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana World Championship (often known as the WWWD Certified World Singles Championship) is a women's professional wrestling championship promoted by the Japanese professional wrestling promotions World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana. [2] During its existence, the title has been promoted by various other promotions such as Pro Wrestling Wave on World Wonder Ring Stardom while held by certain wrestlers who were part of other promotions World.
Like most professional wrestling championships, the title is won as a result of a scripted match. There have been a total of 19 reigns and one vacancy shared between 12 different champions. The current title holder is Ayame Sasamura who is in her first reign.
On April 29, 2013, Kyoko Inoue, the founder of Diana, became the inaugural champion by defeating Jaime D during the main event of Diana's second anniversary show. [1] On November 20, 2021, Inoue who was in her fourth reign vacated the championship after sustaining an injury. [3] On January 23, 2022, Nagisa Nozaki defeated a former titleholder Ayako Sato to win the vacant championship. [4]
As of January19, 2025, there have been a total of 20 reigns between 13 champions and one vacancy. Kyoko Inoue was the inaugural champion. She also holds the record for most reigns at four. Inoue the oldest champion at 51 years old, while Haruka Umesaki is the youngest at 22. Inoue's third reign is the longest at 511 days, while Asuka's reign is the shortest at 42 days.
Hiragi Kurumi is the current champion in her first reign. She won the title by defeating Ayame Sasamura on January 19, 2025, in Tokyo, Japan.

Kyoko Inoue is a Japanese female professional wrestler currently signed to World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana. She has held the WWWA World Single Championship three times, and is the first woman to win a men's title in Japan.
Rimi Yokota is a Japanese professional wrestler and later wrestling trainer, who wrestled under the name Jaguar Yokota (ジャガー横田). She is currently signed to World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana, where she is the leader of the CRYSIS stable. Yokota is widely considered one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time, and during her heyday in the early 1980s, was considered one of the best wrestlers in the world, irrespective of gender.
Makoto is a Japanese professional wrestler. Trained by Emi Sakura, Makoto made her debut for her Ice Ribbon promotion in July 2006. During the next five years, Makoto went on to win Ice Ribbon's top title, the ICE×60 Championship, once and the International Ribbon Tag Team Championship twice, before transferring over to the Smash promotion in August 2011. She remained with Smash until March 2012, when the promotion folded. The following month, Makoto was announced as part of the roster of the new Wrestling New Classic (WNC) promotion. In March 2013, Makoto became the second WNC Women's Champion. In January 2014, Makoto made Reina Joshi Puroresu her second home promotion in addition to WNC. Reina became her primary home promotion after WNC shut down in June 2014. She is a former one-time Reina World Women's Champion and a two-time Reina World Tag Team Champion. She is also known for working at Seadlinnng where she and Asuka are the current title holders of Beyond The Sea Tag Team Championship. She is also known for being a group in Seadlinnng called “Las Fresa De Ego Istas.”
Chisako Jumonji, better known by her ring name Dash Chisako, is a Japanese professional wrestler. She was trained by Meiko Satomura and has worked for her Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling promotion since her debut in July 2006. For the first ten years of her career, Chisako was part of a tag team with her younger sister Sachiko, who worked under the ring name Sendai Sachiko, with the two winning the Sendai Girls World Tag Team Championship, Ice Ribbon's International Ribbon Tag Team Championship, JWP Joshi Puroresu's JWP and Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Championships and World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana's WWWD World Tag Team Championship as well as JWP's 2013 Tag League the Best tournament. Sachiko retired from professional wrestling in January 2016, forcing Chisako to start a singles career. In December 2017, Chisako won her first singles championship, the Pure-J Openweight Championship. Chisako has also wrestled in the United States for the Chikara promotion, where she won the 2016 King of Trios tournament as part of Team Sendai Girls.
Sachiko Jumonji is a retired Japanese professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Sendai Sachiko. She was trained by Meiko Satomura and made her debut for her Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling promotion in July 2006. Her older sister Chisako is also a professional wrestler, working under the ring name Dash Chisako, and together the two have held the Sendai Girls World Tag Team Championship, Ice Ribbon's International Ribbon Tag Team Championship and JWP Joshi Puroresu's JWP and Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Championships and World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana's WWWD World Tag Team Championship, while also having won JWP's 2013 Tag League the Best tournament. Jumonji remained with Sendai Girls' Pro Wrestling her entire career, before retiring in January 2016.
Kaoru Maeda is a Japanese retired professional wrestler better known by the ring name KAORU. Billed as the "Original Hardcore Queen", Kaoru is known for her wrestling style, which combines high-flying with hardcore wrestling. Trained by the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) promotion, Maeda worked in both Japan and Mexico in the late 80s and early 90s, before making her breakthrough in the Gaea Japan promotion, where she most notably was a founding member of the D-Fix stable. After the folding of Gaea Japan in 2005, Maeda became a freelancer, though closely affiliating herself with the Oz Academy promotion. After returning from a three-year-long injury break in March 2014, Maeda resumed working as a freelancer, before signing with the new Marvelous promotion in January 2015.
Rena Takase is a Japanese professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Leon. Trained by Hyper Visual Fighting Arsion, Takase made her debut for the promotion in March 2000, working under her real name. After a change in management, Arsion was renamed Major Girl's Fighting AtoZ in 2003, and Takase received a new ring name, Leo-na. After quitting AtoZ in 2005, Takase became a freelancer, now working under a mask and the new ring name Toujyuki Leon. After two years of working for several independent promotions, including JDStar, M's Style and Oz Academy, Takase made JWP Joshi Puroresu her new home promotion in January 2007. In January 2010, Takase's ring name was shortened to just Leon and the following year, she won JWP's top title, the JWP Openweight Championship, while also becoming the leader of the Shishi no Ana stable. Takase remained with JWP until the promotion's folding in April 2017.
The Reina World Tag Team Championship was a professional wrestling Tag team championship promoted by Reina Joshi Puroresu. The championship was created in September 2011 in Universal Woman's Pro Wrestling Reina (UWWR) promotion. Through UWWR's working relationship with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), CMLL wrestlers have also competed for the title. Following the dissolution of UWWR in May 2012, the title moved over to Reina X World, later renamed Reina Joshi Puroresu.
The Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling tag team championship owned by the Pure-J promotion. The title is named after the Daily Sports newspaper.
The Princess of Pro-Wrestling (POP) Championship is a Japanese women's professional wrestling championship owned by the Pure-J promotion. The title was created in the JDStar promotion on June 24, 2006, when Fuka defeated Natsuki☆Head in the finals of a tournament to become the inaugural champion. On June 17, 2007, JWP Joshi Puroresu's reigning JWP Junior Champion Arisa Nakajima won the title on JDStar's second to last event. Though the two titles were not formally unified, they were defended together from this point onward. The titles remained together in JWP for nearly a decade, before it was announced on February 8, 2017 that the promotion was shutting down. As a result, the two titles were once again be separated, with the JWP title remaining with the promotion's production company, while the POP title moved on to Command Bolshoi's follow-up promotion to JWP, later named Pure-J. Between the transition from JWP to Pure-J, the former JWP roster held events under the name Dream Joshi Puroresu, where the POP title was also defended.
Arisa Nakajima is a Japanese retired professional wrestler. Trained by the Major Girl's Fighting AtoZ promotion, Nakajima made her debut in January 2006, but when the promotion folded the following May, she transferred over to JWP Joshi Puroresu, where she became a two-time JWP Junior and Princess of Pro-Wrestling Champion. Nakajima retired from professional wrestling in June 2009, but made her return to JWP in April 2012. The following December, Nakajima won JWP's top title, the JWP Openweight Championship, for the first time. She eventually went on to become a record four-time JWP Openweight Champion, while also winning the JWP Tag Team and Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Championships twice, before quitting JWP in December 2016. The following month, Nakajima joined the Seadlinnng promotion.
The Gaora TV Championship is a professional wrestling championship owned by the All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) promotion. On August 28, 2012, AJPW and Gaora TV announced that AJPW would introduce a new championship called the Gaora TV Championship. A tournament for the title took place from September 8 to October 7, with Seiya Sanada becoming the inaugural champion. There have been a total of twenty-three reigns shared between nineteen different champions. The current title holder is Seigo Tachibana who is in his second reign.
Yumiko Hotta is a Japanese professional wrestler and mixed martial artist. Hotta was trained by and started her career in the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) promotion in June 1985. She worked for the promotion until 2003, becoming a three-time WWWA World Single and WWWA World Tag Team Champion. In June 2003, Hotta took over the Hyper Visual Fighting Arsion promotion and renamed it Major Girl's Fighting AtoZ. Under Hotta's leadership, the promotion lasted only three years, before folding in 2006, after which Hotta became a freelancer. In January 2011, Hotta joined the new Universal Woman's Pro Wrestling Reina promotion, but just sixteen months later she announced that the promotion was folding. Afterwards, she affiliated herself with the World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana promotion, becoming the leader of the villainous Bousou-gun stable. She resigned from Diana in July 2016 to once again become a freelancer. Since 1995, Hotta has also fought several mixed martial arts matches, mostly at events put together by joshi puroresu promotions.
Hamuko Hoshi is a Japanese professional wrestler, currently working for the Ice Ribbon promotion. She is also a former two-time ICE×∞ Champion and a four-time International Ribbon Tag Team Champion. She also makes regular appearances for the World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana promotion.
Nagisa Nozaki is a Japanese professional wrestler. She started her career in the NEO Japan Ladies Pro-Wrestling promotion in November 2006. After the promotion folded in December 2010, she worked for independent promotions such as Pro Wrestling Wave and World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana. Throughout her career, Nozaki has suffered several injuries, which eventually led to her taking a thirteen-month break from professional wrestling to undergo a shoulder surgery. She finally returned in August 2012, working for Wrestling New Classic (WNC). After another injury, Nozaki went inactive in January 2013, eventually returning with Pro Wrestling Wave in 2017.
Command Bolshoi is a retired Japanese professional wrestler. She debuted for Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (JWP) in November 1991 and worked for its follow-up promotion JWP Joshi Puroresu from 1992 until its folding in 2017, also serving as its final president. During her years in JWP, Bolshoi became a two-time JWP Openweight Champion, seven-time JWP Tag Team Champion and a four-time Daily Sports Women's Tag Team Champion. Bolshoi has worked under mask for a majority of her career and has managed to keep her real name and birthdate secret.

The main characteristic of the title is that it can only be contested in three-way matches and the contestants must be over age 40.
