World in Motion 1 is the sixth studio album by Crack the Sky and the last to be released by the band's second incarnation. Three years later, a new configuration of Crack the Sky released Raw . The album was originally released on LP, and to date has not been released on CD. MP3s of it can be found on the internet, including at the band's official site.

Crack the Sky band

Crack the Sky is an American progressive rock band formed in Weirton, West Virginia in the early 1970s. In 1975, Rolling Stone declared their first album "debut album of the year", and in 1978, Rolling Stone Record Guide compared them to Steely Dan; their first three albums charted on the Billboard 200. The band has never achieved great success outside the Baltimore area. Despite this, they continue to release albums and perform to a small but devoted fan base to this day.

<i>Raw</i> (Crack the Sky album) album from Crack the Sky

Raw, is the seventh studio album by American band Crack the Sky. Other than Jamie LaRitz playing lead guitar, however, all of the musical parts were played by John Palumbo. The next Crack the Sky album, 1989's From the Greenhouse, saw the return of a number of veteran CTS members, most importantly guitarist Rick Witkowski.

Jackie DeShannon is an American singer-songwriter with a string of hit song credits from the 1960s onwards, as both singer and composer. She was one of the first female singer-songwriters of the rock 'n' roll period. She is best known as the singer of "What the World Needs Now Is Love" and "Put a Little Love in Your Heart" and, as the composer of "When You Walk in the Room" and "Bette Davis Eyes," which were hits for The Searchers and Kim Carnes, respectively. Since 2009, DeShannon has been an entertainment broadcast correspondent reporting Beatles band members' news for the radio program Breakfast with the Beatles.
