World of Dance Philippines is a Philippine reality competition series based on the similarly named American reality competition. [1] The series will feature dance performers, including solo acts and larger groups, representing any style of dance. A second season has yet to be produced.

Format

World of Dance is a television series that originated in the United States.

Participants must be at least 8-years-old and above, and is open to both amateur and professional dancers. [2]

An online show hosted by Maymay Entrata, Riva Quenery and AC Bonifacio titled World of Dance Online is aired simultaneously with the main show.

The Voice Kids is a Philippine reality singing television competition. It aired from May 24, 2014 to May 21, 2023 for five seasons on ABS-CBN, replacing Bet on Your Baby and was replaced by Everybody, Sing!. The show is set to return via GMA Network. A spinoff of The Voice of the Philippines, the series, like its parent show, is based on the original The Voice of Holland, and is part of the wider The Voice franchise. It aims to feature young aspiring singers aged 6–12. It is the third national franchise in the Southeast Asian region to produce a kids' edition of the show, after Thailand and Vietnam. Kumu is a Filipino video sharing and e-commerce social networking service owned and developed by Kumumedia Technologies, Inc. The social media platform is used to livestream curated programs created by app users and partner brands and as an e-commerce platform for app users and partner brands who want to sell their merchandise online. It was founded in 2017 and launched on Android and iOS devices in February 2018. Kumu caters mainly to the Philippine market and the Filipino diaspora. In October 2020, the app topped the download charts of both the Apple App Store and Google Play in the free apps category. The app aims to become a "super app" that combines the functionalities of other apps like YouTube, TikTok, Shopee, Instagram and Facebook Messenger into one. Kumu is considering adding offline events to its platform, such as fan meetings with popular livestreamers and a convention inspired by Comic-Con called Kumu-Con, and expand beyond livestreaming to e-commerce and payments.

Shanaia Ricelle Tabuac Galorport, better known by her stage name as Shanaia Gomez, is a Filipino actress. She is best known for appearing in the 10th season of the ABS-CBN reality show Pinoy Big Brother.

<i>Idol Philippines</i> Filipino TV series or program

Idol Philippines is a Philippine reality singing television competition broadcast by Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5. As part of the Idol franchise created by British entertainment executive Simon Fuller, the show aims to discover new solo singing talents, with the winner determined by weekly singing challenges and the viewing public. This is the third iteration of the Idol franchise in the Philippines, after Philippine Idol in 2006 by ABC 5 and Pinoy Idol in 2008 by GMA Network. It aired from April 21, 2019, to September 18, 2022, replacing World of Dance Philippines and was replaced by Everybody, Sing!.
