The show features obese or overweight contestants competing to win a cash prize by losing the highest percentage of weight relative to their initial weight.

Talentadong Pinoy, also known as Bangon Talentadong Pinoy is a Philippine reality talent show broadcast by TV5. The show premiere on August 16, 2008. Hosted initially by Ryan Agoncillo in its first five seasons, within exception of seasons 6 and 7, the show is handled formerly by Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez, it displays performances from singers, dancers, actors, musicians and comedians, to contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, ventriloquists and magicians. Contestants are allowed to perform any act they want. One difference to the Got Talent series is that the judges give their opinions on the performance of the performer and grades only 50% of the final score while the jury also grades 50% of the score to determine the winner. Its recent season aired every Saturday at 8 p.m. (PST). The show ended on March 13, 2021, and was replaced by 1000 Heartbeats: Pintig Pinoy.

Joining Calzado are Matteo Guidicelli and Robi Domingo who replaced the season one gamemaster Derek Ramsay, and are taking the helm of the show's challenge masters. In Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids, Ogie Alcasid replaces Madela, while Valenciano and Cuneta reprised their roles as judges. The Kids season premiered on January 7, 2017. The show's third season ended on May 30, 2021, and was replaced by Everybody, Sing!.

The Voice Kids is a Philippine reality singing television competition on ABS-CBN. It premiered on May 24, 2014, replacing Bet on Your Baby. A spinoff of The Voice of the Philippines, the series, like its parent show, is based on the original The Voice of Holland, and is part of the wider The Voice franchise. It aims to feature young aspiring singers aged 6–12. It is the fourth national franchise in the Southeast Asian region to produce a kids' edition of the show, after Thailand and Vietnam. Since its inaugural season, it has aired a total of five seasons. The winners of the five seasons were: Lyca Gairanod, Elha Nympha, Joshua Oliveros, Vanjoss Bayaban, and Shane Bernabe.
