Xarabank was a prime time talk show produced by Where's Everybody that aired every Friday on the Maltese national television station TVM, till 2020. The show was presented by Peppi Azzopardi, and later by Mark Laurence Zammit. Various topics are discussed, from politics to hobbies. [1]
The name comes from the Maltese word xarabank for "bus", as on a Maltese bus one finds different people with different opinions who end up discussing and arguing on different topics.[ citation needed ]
Xarabank was Malta's most watched television programme. Xarabank was broadcast every Friday evening on TVM, Malta's national TV station, between October and July each year and has been on air since 4 April 1997 till 2020. Xarabank investigates, discusses different issues and sometimes entertains.
In 2016, Xarabank launched its new official website: www.xarabank.com.mt. While a complete re-brand of the whole programme was done, making it more news oriented. Orange was replaced by black as the main colour for the brand, with hints of red and blue. A phrase commonly used by the host Peppi Azzoppardi was fil-qosor, translated to "in short", asking participants to keep their thoughts brief. It has since become an iconic phrase linked to the show.
Malta has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 36 times since its debut in 1971. The current Maltese participant broadcaster in the contest is the Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). Malta has yet to win the contest, but is the only non-winning country to have achieved four top three results.

He also hosts L-Istrina, a yearly telethon programme, televised every Boxing Day across the three main terrestrial TV stations in Malta. Azzopardi is also a founder of the TV production company "Where's Everybody".

The Maltese version of Deal or No Deal began on October 1, 2007, on the national station of Malta, TVM. The prizes start from €0.10, with the top prize being €25,000. The show is hosted by Pablo Micallef.
TVP3 Warszawa is one of the regional branches of the TVP, Poland's public television broadcaster. It serves the entire Masovian Voivodeship with particular dedication to the Warsaw metropolitan area. HTV3 is a channel of Ho Chi Minh City Television in Vietnam and used to be administered by Tri Viet Media Corporation, TTN Media and Purpose Media. Originally, HTV3 aired shows for youth audiences. Sebastian Calleja is a Maltese singer. He started his singing career at the age of 11. Calleja is a resident singer, for the 5th year in a row, on 'Hadd Ghalik' which is aired on the national Maltese television channel TVM. He performs some acting in various local pageants or shows which gave him the spotlight in 2017 and 2018 playing one of the leading roles in the different Good Friday Pageant organised by the inmates at Corradino Correctional Facility in Kordin, Malta, which had all the performances sold out. In 2016, he also was chosen to be part of the song and music video for the Maltese version of the World Youth Day Song 2016 – 'Henjin li jhennu'.

Malta originally planned to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "All of My Love" written by Bernarda Brunović, Borislav Milanov, Sebastian Arman, Dag Lundberg, Joacim Persson and Cesár Sampson. The song was performed by Destiny, who had previously represented Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in the 2015 edition where she achieved first place with the song "Not My Soul". Songwriter Cesár Sampson previously represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest in the 2018 edition where he achieved third place with the song "Nobody but You". The Maltese entry for the 2020 contest in Rotterdam, Netherlands, was selected through the second season of the music competition X Factor Malta, organised by the Maltese broadcaster Public Broadcasting Services (PBS). The competition concluded with a final on 8 February 2020 where Destiny eventually emerged as the winner. The song Destiny would perform at the Eurovision Song Contest, "All of My Love", was internally selected and was released to the public on 9 March.
