YART (Yamaha Austria Racing Team) is a World Endurance Championship racing team based in Heimschuh, Styria, Austria. YART is also one of three official GYTR (Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing) Pro Shops in Europe, alongside Crescent Racing in UK and Ten Kate Racing in the Netherlands. YART was founded in 2001 by Mandy Kainz; it finished runner up in 2006 and 2008 and won 2009 and 2023 the FIM Endurance World Championship.
In 2020 Yamaha Motor Europe and YART unveiled a limited edition Petronas Yamaha SRT replica YZF-R1. The 46 machines have been commissioned to celebrate 46 years of Petronas oil business and will cost €46,000 each. The bikes are available to European customers only. [1]

The Yamaha YZF-R1, or simply R1, is a 998 cc (60.9 cu in) sports motorcycle made by Yamaha. It was first released in 1998, undergoing significant updates in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2015, 2018 and 2020.
David Checa is a Spanish professional motorcycle road racer. He is four time FIM Endurance World Champion, winning the title in 2004, 2014, 2016–17 and 2018–19. In 2016 he was the French Superbike Champion. He previously competed for two years in the Superbike World Championship. He currently competes in the FIM Endurance World Championship aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R and the RFME Superstock 1000 Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1. He's a triple winner of the 24 Hours Moto of Le Mans endurance race, in 2005 and 2017 on Yamaha and in 2019 with Kawasaki. He also won the Bol d'Or 24-hour motorcycle endurance race twice on Circuit Paul Ricard. In 2007 and 2017 both on a Yamaha.
Carl George Fogarty, often known as Foggy, is an English former motorcycle racer and one of the most successful World Superbike racers of all time. He also holds the third highest number of race wins at 59 behind Jonathan Rea and Álvaro Bautista. He is the son of former motorcycle racer George Fogarty. He retired in 2000. In 2011, Fogarty was named a FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.
Michael Laverty is an occasional motorcycle racer from Toomebridge, Northern Ireland. After participating in the 2017 season in the British Superbike Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1, and the 2018 season on a Tyco BMW, Laverty became a television commentator and occasional rider in Endurance events.
Steve Martin is a retired motorcycle road racer and racing commentator from Australia. He currently resides in Melbourne, Australia. He is the 2009 World Endurance Champion for YART, but is a veteran of the World Superbike Championship, and former champion of the Australian series.
Sébastien Gimbert is a professional motorcycle road racer. He currently competes in the Endurance FIM World Championship aboard a Honda CBR1000RR. His greatest success has come in the Endurance World Championship, and the bulk of his career has been spent on Yamaha YZF-R1 with more recent seasons spent on BMW S1000RR and Honda CBR1000RR motorcycles.
Max Neukirchner is a professional motorcycle racer currently competing in the Endurance FIM World Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1.

Niccolò Canepa is an Italian professional motorcycle road racer contracted from 2022 to RNF Racing in the MotoE World Cup aboard an Energica Ego Corsa. Canepa won the 2007 European Superstock 1000 Championship on a Ducati, and spent 2008 as a tester of their MotoGP and World Superbike machines.
Broc Parkes is an Australian motorcycle racer, best known for his success in the Supersport World Championship. He currently races in the Endurance FIM World Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1.
Alexis Masbou is a French motorcycle rider. He currently rides a Yamaha YZF-R1 in the Endurance FIM World Cup.
Katsuyuki Nakasuga is a Japanese motorcycle racer. He races a factory Yamaha YZF-R1 in the JSB1000 class of the All Japan Road Race Championship. He has won the Suzuka 8 Hours four times and the JSB1000 championship title twelve times.
Steven Odendaal is a motorcycle racer from South Africa and the 2016 FIM CEV Moto2 European Champion.
Marvin Fritz is a German motorcycle racer. He competes in the Endurance FIM World Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1. He won the 2005 ADAC Junior Cup, the 2014 IDM Supersport Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R6 and the 2016 IDM Superbike Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1.
Loris Baz is a French motorcycle racer. He is competing for the War Horse Ducati team in the 2024 Steel Commander MotoAmerica Superbike Championship.
Florian Alt is a German Grand Prix motorcycle racer. He currently competes in the Endurance FIM World Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1. He was the 2012 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup champion. He has previously competed in the IDM Superbike Championship, where he was runner-up in 2016 and 2017, the CEV Moto2 Championship, finishing runner-up in 2014 and the IDM 125GP Championship.
Matthieu Lagrive is a French motorcycle racer. He races in the International Road Race Championship, aboard a Yamaha YZF-R6. He is a four times FIM Endurance World Champion.

The 24 Heures de Spa-Francorchamps Motos is a motorcycle endurance race held annually since 1971 on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Francorchamps, Stavelot, Wallonia, Belgium and is part of the Endurance FIM World Championship. In 2024 the race will be run in 8 hours format.
