YEIDA City, also known as "Yamuna City", is a new planned city initiative by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority(YEIDA) and the third one in the Gautam Budh Nagar district, following Noida and Greater Noida. It is situated on a 25,000-hectare expanse along the Yamuna Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. [1] [2]
The initial phase involves creating the Perspective Plan for the entire designated area and drafting the Master Plan 2031 for the National Capital Region, covering portions of Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahar districts. [3] [4]
The new planned city is developed around Yamuna Expressway and the Government of Uttar Pradesh has implemented the UP Industrial Development Act, 1976, with the aim of facilitating organized growth in industrial and related endeavors. [5]
Another such new planned city by the Uttar Pradesh government is in works which is expected to be created beside Ganga Expressway in Meerut. [6]
The upcoming city will have India's largest airport Noida International Airport, which is expected to complete its construction in 2024. [7]

Ganga Expressway is an under-construction, 1,047 km (651 mi) long, of which 594 km (369 mi) has been approved, 6-lane wide greenfield expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is being constructed in two phases. Phase-1 will connect Bijauli village on NH-334 in Meerut district with Judapur Dandu village on NH-19 in Prayagraj district, while Phase-2 will see the extension of both sides of the expressway: from Prayagraj to Ballia and from Meerut to Haridwar.
Okhla Bird Sanctuary is a bird sanctuary at the Okhla barrage over Yamuna River. It is situated in Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar district, on Delhi-Uttar Pradesh state border and known as a haven for over 300 bird species, especially waterbirds. In 1990, an area of 3.5 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi) on the river Yamuna was designated a bird sanctuary by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. The site is located at the point where the river enters Uttar Pradesh. The most prominent feature of the sanctuary is the large lake created by damming the river, which lies between Okhla village to the west and Gautam Budh Nagar to the east. The Okhla Bird Sanctuary (OBS) is roughly 4 square kilometres in size and is situated at the entrance of NOIDA in Gautam Budh Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated at a point where river Yamuna enters in the state of Uttar Pradesh leaving the territory of Delhi. It is one among fifteen bird sanctuaries in the state.
Yamuna Expressway is a 6-lane wide and 165.5 km (102.8 mi) long access-controlled expressway in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is presently India's sixth longest expressway and connects Greater Noida with Agra. It was built to de-congest the older Delhi–Agra national highway (NH-2) or Mathura Road.

The Ghaziabad–Jewar Regional Rapid Transit System is a proposed 72.44 km (45.01 mi)-long semi high-speed rail and regional transit corridor that will connect the National Capital Region (NCR) cities of Ghaziabad, Noida and Noida International Airport at Jewar. It is the fourth of the four rapid rail corridors planned under the first phase of the RapidX project managed by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). It will be built to allow a maximum speed of 180 km/h (110 mph), and the distance between Ghaziabad, Noida and its airport will be covered in less than 40–50 minutes. The project will be executed at a cost of around ₹20,640 crore (US$2.5 billion). It will start from Ghaziabad as the starting station, run through Noida, Greater Noida, YEIDA City and end in Jewar Airport at Jewar. It will have 12 stations and two depots on both the northern and southern ends of the corridor.
