Jaylein Arthur-Henry Cantrell, [1] known professionally as YN Jay, is an American rapper. After releasing his debut mixtape MVP in 2019, his song "Coochie" went viral on social media in 2020. His first two studio albums, Ninja Warrior and Coochie Chronicles, were released in 2021 through Alamo Records.
Jay was raised in Beecher, Michigan, [2] and had one older brother, Gabe, who inspired Jay to start rapping at age 10. As a teenager, he recorded eight to 10 songs a day, and started rapping as a career after his brother died. [3]
In November 2019, he released his debut mixtape MVP. He released the single "Coochie" with Louie Ray in April 2020, which went viral on YouTube and other social media platforms. He released the single "Gotta Get Rich" in July 2020. [4] His mixtapes Coochie Land and Watch This were released in 2020, in August and September, respectively. [3] His single "Blind 'Em" with Lil Yachty was released in September 2020, and his single "Doonie Van" was released in October 2020. [5] [6]
Jay released his debut studio album, Ninja Warrior, in January 2021 through Alamo Records. [7] He released the single "Big Hoes" featuring Lil Pump in March 2021, and was featured on Lil Yachty's song "Flintana" from his mixtape Michigan Boy Boat in April 2021. [8] [9] His song "Triple S" went viral on TikTok, and a remix of the song featuring Coi Leray was released in June 2021. [10] Jay was featured on Mace Supreme's song "Jumanji" that same month. [11] His second studio album, Coochie Chronicles, was released in July 2021. [12] He released the single "Lamar" in November 2021. [13]
Jay's music has been described as hip hop and trap. [5] Alphonse Pierre of Pitchfork wrote, "YN Jay endlessly recycles his own lyrics and big brr somehow keeps coming up with something new." [6] Neena Rouhani of Billboard called Jay a "Detroit favorite", while Entertainment Weekly 's Eli Enis called Jay one of "the most prolific voices from Michigan's fertile rap scene". Dimitri Leslie Roger, known professionally as Rich the Kid, is an American rapper. After a number of independent mixtapes, he signed with Interscope Records in 2017 to release his debut studio album, The World Is Yours (2018). Supported by the singles "New Freezer" and "Plug Walk", the album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. His second and third studio albums, The World Is Yours 2 (2019) and Boss Man (2020) peaked at numbers four and 24 on the chart, respectively. He has also released the collaborative mixtapes Nobody Safe (2020) with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and Trust Fund Babies (2021) with Lil Wayne. Destin Choice Route, better known by his stage name JID, is an American rapper and singer. Born and raised in Atlanta, he signed with J. Cole's Dreamville Records, an imprint of Interscope Records in 2017. He formed the musical collective Spillage Village with EarthGang in 2010, and later formed the hip hop group, Zoink Gang with Smino, Buddy, and Guapdad 4000. His fluent rapping style and usage of wordplay has been highly acclaimed by several music critics.

He first became known in the SoundCloud rap scene for his 2017 single "Audi", which received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In March of that year, he signed with Alamo and Interscope Records to release the song and his debut mixtape for which it served as lead single, Deadstar (2017), the following September. It peaked at number 42 on the Billboard 200, while his debut studio album and the mixtape's sequel, Deadstar 2 (2019) narrowly entered the chart. His second album, Florida Jit (2020) failed to chart in any known territory and served as his final album on the label.
Lil Pump is the debut studio album by American rapper Lil Pump. It was released on October 6, 2017, through Tha Lights Global and Warner Records. The album features guest appearances from frequent collaborator Smokepurpp, alongside Lil Yachty, Chief Keef, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz and Rick Ross. It also features production from Bighead, Ronny J, TM88, among others. A sequel album, Lil Pump 2, was released six years later on March 17, 2023.

The album serves as the third and final installment of the Lil Boat series and the sequel to Lil Boat 2.
