Foundation

On Wednesday January 6, 2021. Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurapa laid of the foundation stone of medical college in Yadgir. [4] [5] [3]

This college will be set up at a cost of Rs 325 crore; while the Centre will contribute Rs 195 crore (60%), the state will give Rs 130 crore (40%). [6]

All India Institutes of Medical Sciences Autonomous Indian public medical institute group

The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) are a group of autonomous government public medical universities of higher education under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS New Delhi, the forerunner institute, was established in 1956. Lumbini Park is a small public, urban park geographically located at Sanna Kere in the heart of Yadgir city, and is close to the other tourist attractions such as Yadgir Fort. The park is formed in two acres of the total nine acres of Sanna kere by Nirmiti Kendra at the cost of Rs. 2 Crore. This park was inaugurated on January 22, 2017 by the Minister for Textiles, Ports and district in-charge Baburao Chinchansur.

Hattikuni Dam the medium irrigation project in Yadgir district. The main objective of Hattikuni project is to provide irrigation facilities to the scarcity striken villages of Yadgir district to an extent of 5300 Acres. Hattikuni project is a medium irrigation project and it is constructed across Hattikuni nala Motanalli village, the spilled water from the dam runs over stream via Hattikuni, Yeddalli, Bandalli and Chamanalli to Bhima river near Yadgir. The project is located near Yadgir Taluka and District.
