Under My Skin is the second studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne. It was released on May 19, 2004, by Arista Records and RCA Records. Lavigne wrote most of the album with singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk, who invited her to a Malibu in-house recording studio shared by Kreviazuk and her husband Raine Maida, where Lavigne recorded many of the songs. The album was produced by Maida, Don Gilmore, and Butch Walker. It is Lavigne's final album to be released on Arista, as she departed the label after its release.

The album's title derives from the Latin word for "marrow".
Françoise Madeleine Hardy is a French singer and songwriter. Mainly known for singing melancholic sentimental ballads, Hardy has been an important figure in French pop music since her debut, spanning a career of more than fifty years with over thirty studio albums released. She rose to prominence in the early 1960s as a leading figure of the yé-yé wave, a genre of pop music and associated youth culture phenomenon that adapted to French the pop and rock styles that came from the United States and the United Kingdom. The singer differentiated herself from her peers by writing her own material, a rare feat in an industry dominated by older, male composers and producers. In the mid-1960s, she also established herself as a pop and fashion icon with the aid of photographer Jean-Marie Périer, becoming a muse for top designers such as André Courrèges, Yves Saint Laurent and Paco Rabanne. In the English-speaking world, her trendy public image and personal style led her to become an icon for the Swinging London scene, and attracted the admiration of several famous artists. Long after the height of her career in the 1960s, Hardy remains one of the best-selling singers in French history, and continues to be regarded as an iconic and influential figure in both music and fashion. Her work has appeared on several critics' lists.
Tous les garçons et les filles is the debut studio album by French singer-songwriter Françoise Hardy, released in November 1962 on Disques Vogue. Like many of her following records, it was originally released without a title and to be referred to, later on, by the name of its most popular song. Released when Hardy was 18 years old, the album was a commercial success and "went on to top charts". It was originally released in the United States under the title The "Yeh-Yeh" Girl From Paris! in 1965 on "proto-world music label" Four Corners.

Kristin "Kay" Boutilier better known by her stage name, My Name Is Kay, or just simply as Kay and now Goldilox, is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Reserve Mines, Nova Scotia, she left Cape Breton Island after graduating from Holy Angels High School in 2005. A struggling artist, Kay eventually moved to Vancouver, B.C., and turned to the Internet to widen her audience and increase her chances of being discovered. Her first music video, released for her debut single "My Name Is Kay", turned into a YouTube sensation, with hits topping 480,000. "Mine" is a song by American recording artist Beyoncé featuring Canadian rapper Drake. The song was written by Noah "40" Shebib, Drake, Beyoncé, Majid Jordan, Sidney "Omen" Brown and Key Wane, with production by Shebib, Jordan, Brown and Beyoncé for the latter's self-titled fifth studio album Beyoncé (2013). "Mine" is a futuristic R&B song, that contains trap elements, African beats with muted modern hip hop. Lyrically, Beyoncé reveals her everyday doubts regarding marriage and motherhood.

Sandra Nankoma, previously known as Sandy Soul, is a Ugandan recording artist, singer-songwriter, composer, actor and performer of Afro-soul and jazz music. She is well known for her single Kaddugala from her debut album Ye'nze for which she won an award for Best Female Artist in African Inspirational Music at AFRIMA Awards in 2018.
Peace Proscovia Drajole Agondua, more commonly known as Peace Proscovia, nicknamed "Warid Tower", is a professional Ugandan netball player and the current captain of the Uganda national team who also plays for the Sunshine Coast Lightning in the Super Netball league. Prior to that, she was a member of the Loughborough Lightning team in the Netball Superleague. She captained the Uganda teams which won the 2013 Netball Singapore Nations Cup, and the 2017 African Netball Championship.
Jane Ruth Aceng, is a Ugandan pediatrician and politician. She is the Minister of Health in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. Before that, from June 2011 until June 2016, she served as the Director General of Medical Services in the Ugandan Ministry of Health.
Sheebah Karungi is a Ugandan musician, dancer and actress who debuted her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira. After quitting Obsessions, a dance group she joined in 2006, she rose to recognition upon the release of her hit single "Ice Cream". In 2014, she released her debut project Ice Cream, a five-track EP which did well commercially and led her to win back-to-back HiPipo Music Awards Best Female Artist in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. She also won the Artist of the Year award twice, in 2017, 2018, and 2019 at the HiPipo Music Awards.
Amanda Benedicta Antony, known professionally as Amanda Black, is a South African singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Mthatha, her career began in 1999 at the age of 6 singing in church choirs. Amanda was a contestant on Idols South Africa season 11. Black relocated to Johannesburg in 2016 to pursue her career in music. She signed a record deal with Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2016 and achieved recognition in same year following the release of her hit single "Amazulu", which was nominated for several music awards.

Anita Beryl is a Ugandan Fashion Designer, Couturier and Entrepreneur. She is the creative director of Beryl Qouture, a Ugandan fashion house. The Ugandan magazine, Satisfashion Uganda, named Beryl one of "The 40 Movers and Shakers of 2016", in December 2016.
Stella Atal is a Ugandan painter and fashion designer, who is the founder, owner and chief executive of Atal Stella Fashion House, with locations in Paris, France.
"Sabotage" is a song by American R&B singer-songwriter JoJo featuring American rapper Chika. The song is JoJo's second original release after "Joanna" and since founding her own label imprint Clover Music with Warner Records. "Sabotage" was released on October 25, 2019. It was written by Joanna Levesque, Dan Wilson, Dylan Wiggins, Martin McKinney, Merna Bishouty, Michael Sonier and Chika, while production was helmed by Doc McKinney, Dylan Wiggins and Mike Sonier. Vocal production was done by Merna Bishouty.
