    Josephine Eusebio Constantino-Asuncion, professionally known as Yeng Constantino, is a Filipina pop rock singer-songwriter, occasional actress and host. She is referred to as the Philippines Pop Rock Royalty and is regarded as one of the biggest hitmakers in Philippine music industry. In 2006, she won the title "Grand Star Dreamer" in the inaugural season of Pinoy Dream Academy, the Philippine edition of Endemol's reality TV show Star Academy. Her debut album titled Salamat became the biggest selling album of her career being 3× Platinum in the Philippines and produced five #1 hits and six top 10 hits, the most by any female artist. Constantino has sold an estimated of over 400,000 copies of her albums in the Philippines. Metro Society listed her as one of the most influential in social media.

    Lapit is the third studio album by Filipina singer-composer Yeng Constantino. The album was released on October 9, 2009 via Star Music through digital distribution from the record label's website and later in music stores in the Philippines. After a week, it was pulled out of display shelves due to some technical errors in the album and is expected to be released again in a week before the album's grand launch on November 1, 2009. The album contains ten OPM tracks, all composed by Constantino, with the collaboration of Morning Glory. Raimund Marasigan is the producer of this album. Its carrier single is "Lapit", a rock-inspirational song.

The song eventually became part of Constantino's compilation album entitled Yeng 10: 10 Years of Yeng Constantino. T.A.N.G.A. is not an acronym, actually, it came from the Tagalog word tanga which means fool.

It was recorded the by Geronimo and Yeng Constantino, the latter wrote the song. Geronimo and Constantino performed the song together for the first time at the 2017 edition of FUSION Music Festival on January 27, 2017.

    One Music Philippines is a Filipino online music hub owned by ABS-CBN Corporation under the company's ABS-CBN Music Ecosystem. One Music PH's website went live in November 2015, but the brand was officially launched on noontime musical variety show ASAP on June 3, 2016 with performances from Yeng Constantino, Ylona Garcia, Erik Santos, and Jed Madela among others.
