Yesterday and Today is the self-titled debut studio album by American hard rock/heavy metal band Yesterday and Today, released in 1976 through London Records.
Out of the Cellar is the debut studio album by American glam metal band Ratt. Released in 1984, it was an immediate success, with wide airplay on radio and heavy rotation on MTV of its singles, especially the hit "Round and Round". The album is certified as triple platinum by the RIAA. The album brought Ratt to the top of the glam metal scene in Los Angeles. Ratt's later work would never surpass the success of Out of the Cellar.
Y&T is an American hard rock/heavy metal band formed in 1972 in Oakland, California, with the line up that would record the first album cementing in 1974. The band released two studio albums on London Records as Yesterday & Today in the 1970s, before shortening their name to Y&T and releasing several albums on A&M Records beginning in 1981, plus albums on Geffen Records, Avex Records, and others. The band was originally co-managed by Herbie Herbert and Louis "Lou" Bramy. The band has sold over 4 million albums worldwide to date, output summarised as 18 albums, three greatest hits collections and a boxed set.

B-Side Ourselves is a studio EP by American heavy metal band Skid Row, released on September 22, 1992. It consists of cover versions of songs originally recorded by artists who influenced Skid Row. As the title suggests, most of the tracks had previously featured as B-sides on the band's various singles — "Psycho Therapy" and "Delivering the Goods" appeared on the 1992 re-release of "Youth Gone Wild", "C'mon and Love Me" appeared on both "Slave to the Grind" and "In a Darkened Room", while "What You're Doing" appeared on "Wasted Time"; only the final track, a cover of "Little Wing", was previously unreleased. The EP charted at number 58 on the Billboard 200.
Earthshaker is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Y&T, released in 1981. It is their first album under the name Y&T, after shortening it from Yesterday and Today, and their first album with A&M Records. A mix of hard rock and heavy metal songs, AllMusic's Eduardo Rivadavia named this album as the best release in the band's career, the album most faithfully representing "the power and energy" of Y&T's "legendary concerts".

Facemelter is the twelfth studio album by American hard rock/heavy metal band Y&T. It was released on May 21, 2010 through the Frontiers Records label. It is their first album since the release of Endangered Species in 1997, the longest gap to date between two Y&T studio albums. This is the final Y&T album to feature bassist Phil Kennemore, who died of cancer the following year. 17 songs were written for the album, of which 15 were placed on the album. The follow up to Facemelter, which would be Y&T's 13th studio album, is to be released before 2020 according to Dave Meniketti. I'm Coming Home was accompanied by a music video.

It later reappeared on their eighth studio album Down for the Count. The song became the band's biggest hit, as well as their first and only single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 55.
