Yevgeniya Aleksandrovna Bochkaryova (born June 10 1980, Penza, USSR) is a Russian athlete, represented rhythmic gymnastics in team exercises. Bronze medalist at the 1996 Summer Olympics in team exercises. Honoured Master of Sports of Russia in rhythmic gymnastics (1996). She was awarded Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II degree. [1]

Biography

Yevgeniya Bochkaryova trained at the Penza Regional Specialized Children and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve in rhythmic gymnastics. In 1993, at the European Youth Cup, she won silver and bronze medals. At the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships 1995 Yevgeniya won a bronze medal, and in Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships 1996 she won silver and bronze medals. In 1996, as part of the Russian national gymnastics team under the leadership of Marina Vasilievna Fateeva Yevgeniya Bochkaryova won the bronze medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics in group exercises. In the same year she was awarded the title of Honoured Master of Sports of the Russian Federation. [2] Yevgeniya graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education Penza State University in 2002. [3]

In 2021, Oleg Melnichenko, Governor of the Penza Region, was appointed Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Penza Region. [4]

She is the third Israeli athlete and first Israeli woman to win an Olympic gold medal in any sport, and the first Israeli rhythmic gymnast to win an Olympic medal. The Russia women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Russia in FIG international competitions. Additionally, they have competed as the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and the Russian Gymnastics Federation (RGF) due to the World Anti-Doping Agency imposing sanctions on Russia in the aftermath of the doping scandal. While competing under the Russian Olympic Committee designation, they won the gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games. They also won the team gold medal at the 2010 World Championships and at the inaugural Junior World Championships in 2019.

Yevgeniya Yevgenivna Gomon is a Ukrainian group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2013 World bronze medalist in 10 clubs and 2015 Universiade champion in 6 clubs + 2 hoops.

Daria Sergeyevna Trubnikova is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 European Junior Clubs and Team champion. On national level she is a 2018 Russian Junior all-around bronze medalist. She is the 2018 Youth Olympic Games individual all-around champion, the 2019 Grand Prix Final all-around gold medallist and the 2021 World Cup Baku all-around gold medallist. In January 2023, Daria announced her retirement from sports.

She was part of the national team of Azerbaijan, and later became part of the Russian national team. She retired from her career in professional rhythmic gymnastics in 2013.

Anastasiya Aliaxandrauna Malakanava is a Belarusian group rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2021 World team and group all-around bronze medalist. She represented Belarus at the 2020 Summer Olympics where she finished fifth in the group all-around. She won a silver medal in the team event at the 2021 European Championships.
