Paulina is the fifth studio album by Mexican singer Paulina Rubio. It was released on May 23, 2000 internationally by Universal Latino and marks her first record production with American global music corporation. Rubio worked with writers and producers such as Estéfano (mostly), Chris Rodríguez, Armando Manzanero, Juan Gabriel, Christian De Walden, and Richard Daniel Roman. The album explores a more variety sounds much different to the vein of her albums with EMI Music, and has an overall latin pop and dance-pop vibe, with influences from rock, ranchera, bolero, funk and house. Elaborating a "synthesis of the end of the millennium" theme for the album, Rubio reinvented her image.

"Te Lo Agradezco, Pero No" is a song recorded by Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz and Colombian singer Shakira, for Sanz's eighth studio album El Tren de los Momentos (2006). It was released as the second single from the record in December 2006 by Warner Music Latina. The track was written by Sanz, while production was handled by him along with Lulo Pérez. "Te Lo Agradezco, Pero No" is the second duet recorded by the two singers, following "La Tortura" for Shakira's album Fijación Oral Vol. 1 (2005). The song came about after she approached Sanz, telling him that she wanted to collaborate on something different from her own material.

Con un mismo corazón is the 13th studio album by Mexican pop singer Ana Gabriel. It was released on 1997. This material was produced by herself. Nine out of the 12 tracks were written by Gabriel herself, and these songs follow her typical way of lyrics about heartbreak and abandonment already established by composers like José Alfredo Jiménez. In fact, Gabriel covered one of Jimenez's songs with verve. The darkly toned "Me Equivoqué Contigo" shows the singer meeting the erroneous man at the altar of the church. It has the duet with the thunderous-voiced Vicente Fernández. Her delightfully raspy voice has never found a better companion. It was nominated for Regional/Mexican Album of the Year at the 10th Lo Nuestro Awards.

"¡Basta Ya!" is a song by Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañón from her fourth studio album, Nuevos Senderos (1996). The song was written and produced by Marco Antonio Solís. It was released as the lead single from the album in 1996. "A ballad, the song is about unrequited love and marked a musical departure from Tañón's merengue recordings. The song was nominated for Pop Song of the Year at the 1997 Lo Nuestro Awards. Commercially, it topped both the Billboard Hot Latin Songs and Latin Pop Airplay charts in the United States. A music video for the song was filmed and features a couple's failing relationship.

Canciones Que Duelen is the fourth studio album by regional Mexican recording artist Espinoza Paz. It was released by Disa Records on September 27, 2011, one year after the release of his previous studio album. Espinoza Paz worked as producer and songwriter of all the tracks included. The album entered at number one in the Billboard's Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts, while peaking atop the albums chart in Mexico. The first single, "Para No Perderte", reached the top twenty of the Billboard Top Latin Songs chart. A DVD with music videos to all the songs is included on the deluxe edition of the album.

"Un Hombre Normal" is a song recorded by Mexican singer Espinoza Paz, released as a single from his album of the same title. The song became his fourth top 5 hit on the Billboard Latin Songs chart, and the third to peak at No.4, after "Al Diablo Lo Nuestro" (2010) and "El Culpable" (2011). "Un Hombre Normal" was nominated for a Pop Song of the Year at the Premio Lo Nuestro 2013.

Siggno is an American norteño/tejano band formed in Santa Rosa, in 2000. The group released their debut album Al Principio in 2001 under Crown Records. The album's release followed Tejano music's post-golden age era, where artist's music were indistinguishable from their counterparts, while album sales flattened. Music critics praised Siggno's progressive sounds and entertaining performances during their concerts. Their second album, Por Amor (2002) received a BMI Music Award and Latin Grammy Award nomination. The group's album Six Pack (2008) marked Siggno's first entry on a music chart. Their album Que Harias (2010) provided Siggno their first top 10 album on the US Billboard Regional Mexican Albums chart.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Raymix</span> Mexican musician and aerospace engineer

Edmundo Gómez Moreno, better known by his stage name Raymix, is a Mexican musician and aerospace engineer. Nicknamed El Rey de la Electrocumbia, Raymix started his music career in the early 2010s, when he joined a trance project called Light & Wave with two other Mexican musicians. Their song "Feeling the City" was featured on the Armin van Buuren radio show A State of Trance. In 2013, Raymix was invited to work in a NASA educative internship, where he helped to develop a satellite.
