Yob Wildlife Reserve is a protected area in the Northern Red Sea and Anseba regions of northern Eritrea. According to the Gazetta Eritrea, it was established on 16 March 1959 by the British, specifically to protect the significant populations of Nubian ibex in the area. [1]
The reserve is overlooked by the Wildlife Conservation Department of the Eritrean Ministry of Agriculture. [2] It covers an area of 265,800 hectares (657,000 acres) and its protection appears to have been reaffirmed on 1 January 1975. [3]
Protected areas of South Australia consists of protected areas located within South Australia and its immediate onshore waters and which are managed by South Australian Government agencies. As of March 2018, South Australia contains 359 separate protected areas declared under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972, the Crown Land Management Act 2009 and the Wilderness Protection Act 1992 which have a total land area of 211,387.48 km2 (81,617.16 sq mi) or 21.5% of the state's area.

Nature reserves fall into different IUCN categories depending on the level of protection afforded by local laws. Normally it is more strictly protected than a nature park. Various jurisdictions may use other terminology, such as ecological protection area or private protected area in legislation and in official titles of the reserves.
Billiatt Conservation Park, formerly the Billiatt National Park, is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in the locality of Sandalwood about 200 kilometres (120 mi) east of the state capital of Adelaide.

Hemis National Park is a high-elevation national park in Ladakh, India. Globally famous for its snow leopards, it is believed to have the highest density of them in any protected area in the world. It is the only national park in India that is north of the Himalayas, the largest notified protected area in India and is the second largest contiguous protected area, after the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve and surrounding protected areas. The park is home to a number of species of endangered mammals, including the snow leopard. Hemis National Park is India's protected area inside the Palearctic realm, outside the Changthang Wildlife Sanctuary northeast of Hemis, and the proposed Tso Lhamo Cold Desert Conservation Area in North Sikkim.
Munga-Thirri–Simpson Desert National Park, part of which was formerly Munga-Thirri–Simpson Desert Conservation Park, Simpson Desert Conservation Park, and Simpson Desert National Park, is a protected area located in the far north of the Australian state of South Australia, near its border with Queensland and the Northern Territory. As of November 2021 it is the largest national park in Australia, covering 3,600,000 ha (14,000 sq mi).
Acraman Creek Conservation Park is a protected area located in South Australia on the northern side of Streaky Bay on the western side of the Eyre Peninsula, about halfway between the towns of Ceduna and Streaky Bay.
Wildlife diversity is a notable feature of Nepal. Because of the variance in climate, from tropical to arctic, Nepal has a large variety of plants and animals. Ajar Valley Nature Reserve is a protected area in Afghanistan, located in Bamyan Province. It was designated a nature reserve in the early 20th century after the Afghan royal family had used the area for hunting. It is considered by the IUCN to be one of the most important natural areas of Afghanistan and was proposed for a national park in 1981. Poaching is still a problem in the valley and protection has been implicated by war. Especially threatened is the ibex population.
Nuyts Archipelago Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located on Eyre Island and St Peter Island in the Nuyts Archipelago located off the west coast of Eyre Peninsula about 10 kilometres south and 25 kilometres south-east respectively of Ceduna.
Peebinga Conservation Park is a 34 km2 protected area lying 40 km north of the town of Pinnaroo in the Murray Mallee region of south-eastern South Australia, about 240 km east of Adelaide and 10 km west of the Victorian border.
The Yellabinna Regional Reserve is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located about 30 kilometres north of Ceduna. To the west it borders Nullarbor Regional Reserve, to the south Yumbarra Conservation Park and Pureba Conservation Park. In the northwestern Section the 5,030 km2 Yellabinna Wilderness Protection Area (YWPA) is almost entirely surrounded by the Regional Reserve. The northern border in the western half of the reserve is formed by the Trans-Australian Railway.
Olive Island Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia associated with Olive Island off the west coast of Eyre Peninsula and which is located about 25 kilometres west-northwest of the town of Streaky Bay.
Douglas Point Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in the gazetted locality of Cape Douglas in the state's south east about 29 kilometres south-west of Mount Gambier and about 11 kilometres north west of the township of Port MacDonnell. The conservation park was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 in 1997 ‘to protect the endangered plant species, Sand Ixodia’. The conservation park is classified as an IUCN Category VI protected area.
Simpson Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in the locality of Porkys Flat on Dudley Peninsula on Kangaroo Island about 13 kilometres south of Penneshaw. The conservation park was proclaimed under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 in 2010 over crown land previously dedicated as a conservation reserve in 1986. The conservation park is classified as an IUCN Category Ia protected area.
Nilpena Ediacara National Park, which includes the former Ediacara Conservation Park, is a protected area located in the northern Flinders Ranges, in the state of South Australia. It is located about around 551 km (342 mi) north of the city of Adelaide, around 30 kilometres south-west of the town of Leigh Creek in the state's Far North.
Conservation reserves of South Australia is a class of protected area used in the Australian state of South Australia where crown land under the control of the responsible minister has been dedicated for conservation purposes. This class of protected area has been in use as early as 1985. In 2016 there were 15 conservation reserves that covered an area of 194.7 square kilometres. As of March 2022 the number had increased to 16 conservation reserves covering 193.6 square kilometres or less than 1% of South Australia's land area.
Aberdour Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in the state's south-east in the locality of Willalooka about 226 kilometres (140 mi) south-east of the state capital of Adelaide and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of the town of Keith.
