Yoon Tae-Il (born 19 November 1964) is a South Korean former handball player who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics.
In 1988 he won the silver medal with the South Korean team. He played all six matches as goalkeeper.
He coaches the Kazakhstan women's national handball team and participated at the 2011 World Women's Handball Championship. [1]
The Asian Handball Federation (AHF) is the governing body of handball and beach handball in Asia. The South Korea women's national handball team is the national team of South Korea. Since 1984 the Korean team has not only participated constantly in Olympic Games but also ranked among the top four nations every time until 2012. Korea grabbed the gold medal in 1988 and 1992,won the silver medal in 1984,1996,2004 and took bronze medal in 2008. They have earned two World Championship medals so far:In 1995,they also won the World Championship title in Austria/Hungary 1995 World Women's Handball Championship,they came off third to secure the bronze medal at the Croatia in 2003 World Women's Handball Championship. It is a twelve time Asian Champion,the tournament has been won by any other nation only twice.
The Kazakhstan women's national handball team is the national handball team of Kazakhstan and takes part in international handball competitions.
The 2011 World Women's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the international championship tournament in women's Team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). Brazil hosted the event from 2–18 December 2011.

The 2017 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship was the 14th edition of the championship organised by the Handball Association of Hong Kong China under the auspices of the Asian Handball Federation. It was held in Tsim Sha Tsui,Hong Kong from 15 to 23 July 2017. It was played in under-19 years category. It was the first time that Hong Kong staged the competition. It also acts as qualification tournament for the IHF Women's Junior World Handball Championship. Top three teams i.e. South Korea,China and Japan qualified for the 2018 Women's Junior World Handball Championship to be held in Hungary.
The 2017 Asian Women's Youth Handball Championship was the 7th edition of the championship organised by the Indonesia Handball Association under the auspices of the Asian Handball Federation. It was held in Jakarta (Indonesia) from 20 to 28 August 2017 and was played by under-17 years players. It was the first time that Indonesia staged the competition. It also acts as qualification tournament for the IHF Women's Youth World Handball Championship. Top four teams will qualify for the 2018 Women's Youth World Handball Championship to be held in Poland.
The 2022 Asian Women's Junior Handball Championship was 16th edition of the championship held from 7 to 14 March 2022 in Almaty,Kazakhstan under the aegis of Asian Handball Federation. It was the fifth time in history that the championship was organised by the Kazakhstan Handball Federation. It also acted as the qualification tournament for the 2022 Women's Junior World Handball Championship,with top tree teams from the championship directly qualifying for the event to be held in Slovenia.
