Yosvany Hernandez Carbonell (born 23 June 1991) is a Cuban male volleyball player. He was part of the Cuba men's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB World League. [1] On club level he plays for Vero Volley Monza in Italian Volleyball League.

The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup was an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's and women's national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The tournament was created in 1993 after radical changes made on the biggest tournaments organised by the FIVB. The main goal was not to have a single year without two high-profile world-level volleyball competitions, alongside the pre-existing men's and women's world championship, men's and women's world cup and the volleyball tournament at the Olympic Games which are all quadrennial and the annual men's and women's Nations League.

Al Arabi Volleyball is a professional Volleyball team based in Doha, Qatar. It competes in the Qatari Volleyball League. The team automatically qualified for the 2009, 2010, and 2011 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship as Qatar were the hosts. In 2012 Al Arabi team qualified for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship as the Champion of AVC Club Volleyball Championship They have never advanced past the group stage in their appearances.

It was not held between 1995 and 2009, but since 2010, the competition has been held every year, and has been hosted by Qatar, Switzerland, the Philippines, Japan, China and Turkey. The competition was held in Zhejiang Province of China in 2018 and 2019. After the 2020 championship was cancelled due to corona virus pandemic, the competition was held in Turkey in 2021.
