The Difference

You, by Us was the first release from UK skate punk band Pendleton. It was released on 14 June 2006 by Distort Manchester Records in the UK. [2] A video was shot for the song "Falling Apart to Double Time" which received rotation on MTV2 in the UK. [3]

Contents

The EP met with some critical acclaim, with punk music website Punktastic.com describing Pendleton as "the best skate punk band in the UK". [1]

In 2007 the EP was licensed by Angry Penguin Records for release in the US and to Bells On Records for release in Japan. These releases were both extended editions of You, by Us, with four extra songs added which were taken from the band's earlier, self-recorded, release Stamp out the Japanazis. [4]

Cancer Bats Canadian hardcore punk band

Cancer Bats are a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto, Ontario. They have released six studio albums and six extended plays. The band is composed of vocalist Liam Cormier, drummer Mike Peters and bassist Jaye R. Schwarzer. Cancer Bats take a wide variety of influences from heavy metal sub-genres and fuse them into hardcore and punk rock, and also include elements of Southern rock. Their sound has been likened to sludge metal, as well as to that of metalcore bands such as Converge and Hatebreed. The members of Cancer Bats have also toured and recorded as a Black Sabbath tribute band under the name Bat Sabbath.

Grown at Home

Grown at Home was a British ska punk band, tipped as "the new market leaders for their genre in this country, with a nationwide fanbase to back their unsurmountable popularity". The band formed in 2002 in Stafford.

Howards Alias were a band in the turn-of-the-millennium UK underground punk scene. They formed in 1999 in Southampton, England, and blended an eclectic mix of rock, progressive, punk and ska influences into their own musical output. They permanently disbanded in April 2008.

Pendleton (band)

Pendleton was an English four-piece skate punk band from Manchester, England. They were formed in 2000 and went through several incarnations before becoming Pendleton in 2002 when several of the band members met at the University of Salford. They were signed to Angry Penguin Records in the US, and Bells On Records in Europe and Japan.

The Scarred is an American former garage punk band from Anaheim, California, United States, formed in 2003, on the East Coast-based label Jailhouse records. Formed by Jordan Thompson, they are one of the only old school punk bands active from Anaheim, and known for bridging the sound between 70s Punk rock, soul, and classic rock and roll.

The King Blues

The King Blues are a British punk rock band from London, England, credited for fusing punk and hip hop together with influences from ska and spoken word. Tariq Ali described the band's sounds as "rough, radical music that should unsettle the rulers of this country. A new generation of musicians are challenging war-monger politicians and their courtiers". Influences include Public Enemy, The Clash and The Specials. Lead singer Jonny "Itch" Fox describes the band's sound as 'rebel street music.'

<i>Pin Points and Gin Joints</i> 2009 studio album by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Pin Points and Gin Joints is the eighth studio album by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, which was released on December 8, 2009. It is their first album of all new material since the release of A Jackknife to a Swan in 2002. Pin Points and Gin Joints was produced by Ted Hutt, notable for working with other bands such as The Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, and The Gaslight Anthem. Recording and writing sessions for the album lasted from November 2008 to July 2009.

Sounds of Swami are a progressive rock/post-hardcore influenced punk rock band currently active in the UK. They formed in late 2005 in Keighley, West Yorkshire, England. The band is well known for their eclectic mix of punk, DC post-hardcore, and progressive rock as well as their aggressive stage presence. To date, the band have released one album, one single, two EP's and have had their songs included on numerous international compilations. Their second album Furniture For Modern Living will be released in 2017.

Off! American band

Off! is an American hardcore punk supergroup, formed in Los Angeles, California in late 2009 by Circle Jerks/Black Flag singer Keith Morris, Burning Brides frontman Dimitri Coats, Redd Kross bassist Steven Shane McDonald, and Rocket From The Crypt/Hot Snakes drummer Mario Rubalcaba. In 2021, it was announced that the line-up changed, with McDonald and Rubalcaba replaced by Autry Fulbright II and Justin Brown, respectively. The band are known for playing short, intense punk songs, with Pitchfork describing the band as "a vital blast of classic hardcore."

Angry Penguin Productions is a Rochester, New York based multimedia company, founded in 2002 by Antonio Esteves and Jonathan Bernier.

<i>The Difference</i> (album) 2008 studio album by Pendleton

The Difference is the first full-length release from UK skate punk band Pendleton. It was released on 1 July 2008 by Angry Penguin Records. It followed the band's previously released EP, You, by Us.

Doggy Style is a punk rock band from Placentia, California, and was part of the North Orange County punk rock scene that included bands from the surrounding cities of Fullerton and Anaheim that formed in 1983. Daddy X of the Kottonmouth Kings, and co-founder of Suburban Noize Records, was the original vocalist, and creator of the band. Their debut EP Work As One was released on a 7" record, on Mystic Records.

The Prozacs are an American pop punk band formed in 2001 by Jay Gauvin. The band has toured nationally and internationally and has appeared at events such as Insubordination Fest and Vans Warped Tour, Germany's Puke Fest and has released five studio albums and several splits and EP'S on various independent labels.

Turbowolf are an English rock band founded in Bristol, whose members include Chris Georgiadis, Andy Ghosh (guitar), Lianna Lee Davies and Blake Davies (drums). Their first album, Turbowolf, was released on 11 November 2011 on Hassle Records.

Question The Mark are a Welsh punkrock band from Cardiff, Wales. The band have released three EPs, Tearing Our Arms Off Through (2009), Smoke Signals (2012) and Nightmare On Misery Street (2018), one studio album, Idle Hands released in 2010, one official compilation album, 1096 Days Later released in 2012 and one 4 way compilation EP, Roaster released in 2013.

Colour Me Wednesday is an English indie pop/pop punk band from West London, England, built around sisters Jen and Harriet Doveton. The band are noted for their melodic guitar pop, politicised lyrics and DIY punk method, including producing their own recordings, artwork and promotional videos.

<i>Bliss EP</i> 2015 EP by A Will Away

Bliss is the third EP from American modern rock band A Will Away. It was released by Quiet Fire Media on March 20, 2015, and re-released by Triple Crown Records on October 23, 2015. The EP is considered the band's breakthrough record, setting in motion a series of events that led to Triple Crown Records signing them in August 2015.
