Fairy Tail is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiro Mashima. It was serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from August 2006 to July 2017, with the individual chapters collected and published into 63 tankōbon volumes. The story follows the adventures of Natsu Dragneel, a member of the popular wizard guild Fairy Tail, as he searches the fictional world of Earth-land for the dragon Igneel.

<i>Kimi ni Todoke</i> Japanese manga series

Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Karuho Shiina. It was published by Shueisha in Bessatsu Margaret from 2005 to 2017 and collected in 30 tankōbon volumes. In 2008, it won the Best Shōjo Manga award in the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Award. The series was also nominated for the first Manga Taisho awards in 2008. Two anime adaptations of Kimi ni Todoke were aired in Japan, produced by Production I.G. The second season of the anime was announced in Betsuma Magazine, began airing in Japan on January 4, 2011, and lasted for 12 episodes. A live action film adaptation was released in 2010 starring Mikako Tabe and Haruma Miura. A live-action series produced by TV Tokyo and Netflix is set for a March 2023 release.

Akiko Higashimura is a Japanese manga artist from Kushima in Miyazaki Prefecture. She debuted in the now-defunct manga magazine Bouquet Deluxe in 1999 with Fruits Kōmori (フルーツコウモリ) and later gained notoriety for her manga Kisekae Yuka-chan, which debuted in Cookie magazine in 2001. Higashimura was nominated for the Manga Taishō in 2008 for Himawari: Kenichi Legend, in 2009 for Mama wa Tenparist, in 2010 for Princess Jellyfish, in 2011 for Omo ni Naitemasu, and in 2016 and 2017 for Tokyo Tarareba Girls. In 2010, she won the 34th Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shōjo Manga for Princess Jellyfish. In 2015, she won both the 8th Manga Taishō and the Grand Prize at the 19th Japan Media Arts Festival for Blank Canvas: My So-Called Artist's Journey. In 2019, she won the Eisner Award for Best U.S. Edition of International Material—Asia for Tokyo Tarareba Girls. Higashimura's younger brother, Takuma Morishige, is the author of the manga My Neighbor Seki.

Etorouji Shiono is a Japanese manga artist. After debuting in 2003, he launched Übel Blatt in the following year, which saw success internationally and won the Japan Expo Award in the seinen category in 2008. Starting in 2020, he did the illustrations for Deep Insanity: Nirvana.

Be Love is a Japanese monthly manga magazine targeting women published by Kodansha. It debuted in September 1980. It is one of the leading manga magazines for adult women, the second of its kind, and was instrumental in the rising popularity of josei manga in the 1980s, which led to the creation of other magazines targeted at women such as You and Big Comic for Lady. As of 2003, Be Love, like You and Jour, published stories focusing on "the reality of everyday life" experienced by its readers.

<i>Deka Wanko</i> Japanese manga series

Deka Wanko (デカワンコ) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kozueko Morimoto. It was serialized in Shueisha's josei manga magazine You from April 2008 to January 2013, with its chapters collected in 12 tankōbon volumes. A 10-episode television drama adaptation was broadcast on Nippon TV from January to March 2011, followed by two specials aired in April of that same year and January 2012.

A sequel series, titled Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai R, was serialized in the same magazine from October 2016 to October 2018, and was compiled into six volumes.

<i>Kōdai-ke no Hitobito</i>

Kōdai-ke no Hitobito is a Japanese romantic comedy josei manga series written and illustrated by Kozueko Morimoto. Published by Shueisha, the chapters of the manga were serialized on You between February 15, 2013, and March 15, 2017, and have been compiled into six tankōbon volume. It was preceded by a one-shot published in the same magazine in December 2012, and followed by two side stories in April 2017 and December 2017. A live-action film adaptation of the same name was released in Japan on June 4, 2016.

<i>Hibiki: Shōsetsuka ni Naru Hōhō</i> Japanese manga series

Hibiki: Shōsetsuka ni Naru Hōhō is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Mitsuharu Yanamoto. It was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Big Comic Superior from August 2014 to October 2019, with its chapters collected in 13 tankōbon volumes.

<i>Wataten!</i> Japanese manga series and its adaptations

Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me is a Japanese four-panel yuri comedy manga series written and illustrated by Nanatsu Mukunoki. The series began publication in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in November 2016. An anime television series adaptation by Doga Kobo aired in Japan between January and March 2019. A theatrical anime film titled Wataten!: An Angel Flew Down to Me: Precious Friends premiered in October 2022.

Takahiro is a Japanese novelist, manga, visual novel writer and anime & movies screenwriter. He is also the chairman of Japanese visual novel studio Minato Soft. He is best known for being the creator of Akame ga Kill! and Yuki Yuna is a Hero.

<i>My Boy</i> (manga) Japanese manga series

My Boy is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hitomi Takano. It was first serialized in Futabasha's Monthly Action from December 2015 to December 2017. It was then transferred to Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine, being serialized from May 2018 to October 2020. In North America, the manga is licensed for English release by Vertical.
