Young Joshua is an American Christian hip hop recording artist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [1] Joshua is signed to the Christian hip hop label Cross Movement Records and has released one studio album entitled Thinking Out Loud which reached 23 on the Gospel Billboard Charts in 2010. [2]

Young Joshua began writing rap lyrics at the age of 11. However his skills did not improve until he reached the age of 17 years old. He contributed this change in his rap style due to the fact that he changed his spiritual view. He then refocus his craft of music and aim it at Christians and non-Christians who had not yet experience the word on God [3]

Music career

Young Joshua started his career as an independent artist, but in 2010 he signed with Cross Movement Records. To date, Young Joshua has been featured on 50 different Christian albums and has released one studio album. [4]

Lloyd Polite Jr., better known by his mononym Lloyd, is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. Lloyd began his career in music as a member of the preteen-boy band N-Toon. The group disbanded in 2001 and Lloyd embarked on a solo career in 2003. He subsequently signed a recording contract with Murder Inc. Records and Def Jam Recordings. In 2004, Lloyd released his solo debut single "Southside", the title track of his debut album, Southside. The single features Ashanti, and it quickly charted on the US Billboard Hot 100, and became a Top 40 hit. His second album Street Love, was released on March 13, 2007. It featured the top-twenty hits "You" and "Get It Shawty".

Lecrae American Christian hip hop artist, entrepreneur, record producer, and actor

Lecrae Devaughn Moore, mononymously known as Lecrae, is an American Christian hip hop recording artist, songwriter, music executive, actor, and entrepreneur. He is the president, co-owner and co-founder of the independent record label Reach Records, was the co-founder and president of the now-defunct non-profit organization ReachLife Ministries, is an investor and co-owner of the audio production software MXD, and is a co-founder of the film production studio 3 Strand Films. To date, he has released ten studio albums and three mixtapes as a solo artist, and has released three studio albums, a remix album, one EP, and numerous singles as the leader of the hip hop group 116 Clique. He produced much of his earlier material along with other early Reach Records releases. Lecrae, in reference to his label as a Christian rapper, has stated that his music is just hip hop, though it reflects his Christian faith. In May 2016, Lecrae signed to Columbia Records in a joint deal between his label and Columbia. He left Columbia in May 2020.

Glenn Clifton Jr., better known as Young Bleed is an American hip-hop artist based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since his chart-topping 1998 release My Balls & My Word, Thug Drama, C-Loc of Camplife Entertainment formally C-Loc records introduced Young Bleed to Master P in 1997. Young Bleed has been a mainstay of the Southern hip hop underground, narrating his vision of life in the urban South.

Trip Lee

William Lee Barefield III, better known by his stage name Trip Lee, is an American Christian rapper, singer, poet and author. Signed to Reach Records, he has recorded both as a solo artist and as a founding member of the 116 Clique. Originally from Dallas, Texas, he serves as a young adult pastor at Concord Church. His third album, Between Two Worlds, was nominated for two Dove Awards and won the Stellar Award for Best Hip Hop Album in 2011.

Kutt Calhoun American rapper

Melvin Lewis Calhoun Jr., better known by his stage name Kutt Calhoun, is an American rapper and business executive from Kansas City, Missouri. After getting his start in the late 1990s underground rap scene of Kansas City, he subsequently signed to Strange Music when the label was founded in 1999. Calhoun released his debut album B.L.E.V.E. in 2004, and his 2007 sophomore album Feature Presentation debuted at number 60 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Calhoun's third album, Raw and Un-Kutt, made its debut at number 162 on the Billboard 200 chart in its first week of release, as well as charting at No. 19 on the Top Heatseekers chart.

Rhema Soul, is a Christian hip hop trio from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, consisting of Butta-P, JuanLove, and K-Nuff. They started as a band with the 2007 independent release Worn Soles. Good City Music released the trio's second album Dope Beats Good News: The EP in 2008, Fingerprints in 2010 and Red in 2012. The band collaborated with Gawvi on their fifth album Dope Beats, Good News Vol. 2, which was released by Good City Music on October 8, 2013. Each of the last three albums have charted with Billboard Top Gospel Albums.

Derek Johnson, Jr., better known by his stage name Derek Minor and former stage name PRo, is an American Christian hip hop artist, record producer, entrepreneur, actor, and screenwriter. He co-founded the hip-hop record label Reflection Music Group (RMG) with Doc Watson, and signed to Reach Records in a joint venture between the two labels in 2011. In 2012, Johnson announced that he had changed his stage name from Pro to Derek Minor. In 2014, he announced that as his two-album contract with Reach was complete, he would no longer be publishing releases through that label.

Reach Records is an American independent record label specializing in Christian hip hop. The label was founded in 2004 by Ben Washer and the hip-hop artist Lecrae. In addition to Lecrae, the Reach Records roster contains artists Andy Mineo, Tedashii, Trip Lee, Gawvi, 1K Phew, WHATUPRG, Wande, and Hulvey. The hip-hop collective 116 operates under the label and consists primarily of the label's solo acts. The artists Aha Gazelle, Derek Minor, KB and Sho Baraka were formerly signed to the label, and DJ Official was under the label until his death. Reach Records is distributed by Columbia Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.

Gudda Gudda American rapper from Louisiana

Carl Eugene Lilly Jr., better known by his stage name Gudda Gudda, is an American rapper from New Orleans. He was originally a member of Sqad Up with Kidd Kidd and Lil Wayne. After forging a long-time friendship with Wayne, he signed to Young Money Entertainment, and later Republic Records.

Tony Daniel Frazier, who goes by the stage name Tony Tillman or previously Brothatone, is an American Christian hip hop musician. As Brothatone, he released an EP in 2006, The Gift. As Tony Tillman, Mic Check was released by Reflection Music in 2013, and it is his breakthrough release on the Billboard charts. He followed it up with 2013's The Tillman EP that charted on two Billboard charts. His second studio album, Camden, charted on two Billboard magazine charts.

Oluwaseun Oluwatosin Otukpe who goes by the stage name S.O. or Seun Otukpe in full, is a Nigerian Christian hip hop musician of British citizenship, currently based in Texas, United States. So It Begins was released independently in 2011. Lamp Mode Recordings released his second studio album So It Continues in 2012, and this album would be his breakthrough release on the Billboard charts.

Hazakim American Christian hip-hop duo

Hazakim,, is a Christian hip hop duo originally from Columbus, Ohio. The group consists of brothers Michael "Mike" Wray and Anthony "Tony" Wray. Lamp Mode Recordings released the duo's second album Son of Man on September 23, 2014. Son of Man broke into two Billboard charts. The first professional release from the duo in 2009 was Theophanies. Hazakim is known for hip hop music that is uniquely Messianic; even rapping and singing in Hebrew, at times, over beats with traditional Mizrahi rhythms.

Rodnie Jerome Graham, Jr., who goes by the stage name Swift but formerly R-Swift, is an American Christian hip hop musician. His first album Elevation 81.02 was released in 2003, with I-66 Entertainment, the second album Revolutionary Theme Muzik was released with Cross Movement Records in 2007. In 2008, he released, his third album, Soapbox, that was his first album to debut on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums charts. His fourth album would do likewise, which was released in 2009, Anthem, also with Cross Movement. The fifth album, Apply Pressure, with Rhyme Council and Central South, was released in 2013, and this got on the aforementioned chart, as well as, Christian Albums. He is now signed to Xist.

Anthony Regis Jones, who goes by the stage name K-Drama, is an American rapper. His first studio album, Behind the Glory, came out in 2006. His Billboard chart debut album, We Fit: The Workout Plan, came out in 2010. His most recent album, Winds & .Waves, was self-released in 2013 and charted on a Billboard chart.

Everyday Process is a Christian hip hop duo from Chester, Pennsylvania. The members are Iz-Real and Mac the Doulos. In 2007, Cross Movement Records released the duo's first album Everyday Process: The Process of Illumination & Elimination. This charted on two Billboard charts. The second and last album from the duo in 2009 was Outtadisworld, with Cross Movement Records.

6 Way St. is an American Christian R&B and Christian hip hop group signed to the Cross Movement Records. They are based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. The group consists of two male M.C.'s, three female vocalists and one female DJ.

Aaron Rivera, who goes by the stage name Asaiah Ziv. Rivera, formerly known as KIDD, is an American hip hop musician. His first studio album, Murder My Flesh, was released by Christian hip hop label Infiltrate Music in 2013, and was a Billboard chart breakthrough release. He subsequently released a free extended play in 2014, Hipsavvy: The Introduction, also with the label Infiltrate Music. On February 1, 2016, Rapzilla, which is run by the owners of Infiltrate, revealed that Rivera no longer identified as a Christian, and that he was released from his contract.

NF (rapper) American rapper

Nathan John Feuerstein, known by his initials NF, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He has released two EPs, I'm Free (2012), and a self-titled EP in 2014 with Capitol CMG. NF has released five studio albums: Moments (2010), Mansion (2015), Therapy Session (2016), Perception (2017), and The Search (2019). NF released a mixtape: Clouds (2021). His albums have earned several accolades, some of which include: the Gospel Music Association Dove Award for Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year ; two No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 charts ; and a triple-platinum certified single in the United States which also charted internationally.
